Just got my second dose of covid vaccine
Thanks girls, we are doing much better now.
I seriously hope by some miracle this virus just disappears. The havoc itās wreaking in peopleās lives is unimaginable. Unfortunately, many are saying that a third wave is imminent. I shudder to think what will happen then.
I hope books are keeping you girls company in these tough times. Do share some of the interesting books you have read. I have hardly read anything in the last month.
Also, is next month okay for the reading marathon or will you girls be busy?
@Hinna: How is fasting going on for you? Unfortunately I couldnāt fast this time so I donāt even realise itās Ramzan.

I feel you girl...hope you are better now!
The first week of fasting was easy, but now they have just been getting longer and more difficult for meš
Even though I am fasting I just dont have the same feeling like I usually get during Ramadan. I feel no energy or spirituality this time and I guess many are having this issue. Blame covid and lockdownš¤

I have read only 2 books in the last month besides the BOTM - Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston and Frankenstein by Mary Shelly. I enjoyed RW&RB but Frankenstein was one of the most horrid books I've ever read. I seriously don't know why it's considered a classic.
I am now reading Charlotte's Web by E. B. White. It's quite a nice book.
I am okay with the reading marathon the next month. I will be locked at home anyway. In fact, now I am just as free this month too.š Whenever you're feeling well enough to join us and if everybody else is ready, I'm in for it.
I guess next month will be okay for marathon as July people may get busy again with summer
