Haven't actually seen the post and neils reply but its sounding very distasteful.
Actor playing pp is attention seeking and best to ignore but as audience i had more expectations from neil.
He seems to understand the character snd emotes so well so its really uncool for him to defend pp's character. In the hospital scene it is crystal clear from virats dialogues and expressions that she is HARASSING him. He shirks away from her and swats her hand away, says to her for the second time now- to maintain the "lihaaz"of their relationship- wherein she is his brothers wife. He told her to stay in her limits earlier too. He has been clear that he is not comfortable with her presence in the hospital room all night or in his own room at home in the middle of the night. So ignoring all this if the woman is trying to touch him, impose her "care" on him by kicking out his wife then how is NOT harassment?! His own expressions on the show suggested this. So if he emoted in the episode without actually truly feeling that pp was harrasing in him then maybe we should give the director a lot of credit because he managed to get such a good performance out of neil bhatt even when neil Bhatt does not even realize that the character called pp is harrassing the character called virat. His defence of pp character is definitely not ok because they are currently showing an obsessivr, vile woman who is performing crimes. To brush away her actions of imposing herself without consent/comfort of opposite party as her "true love", only "care" is utterly irresponsible and sends a wrong message. Werent these the same people that made a Vday social message traxk about how if a girl says no to a guys advances- it needs to be respected. And emotional blackmail to force someone by trying to commit suicide (like that guy in Sai's college) is also not acceptable.
So now what happened?!
Until now virat had allowed pp into his space and room because he was giving her the benefit of doubt or wasnt clear about his own feelings. But now that he is clearly asking her to GO and pp responds with essentially saying i don't care what you want, i know what I want, isnt that a clear case of her ignoring the importance of the guys consent?!
The offscreen pair are really making everyone sour by their actions. Its socially irresponsible for them to justify a character like pp. Ome of them is a lost cause and is best to ignore but the other is also now shoeing us that he is confused- mixing reel n real maybe.
I just hope the only bright ray of hope in this show Ayesha Singh is not corrupted by these other people. She doesn't engage in saying controversial things, just does her wotk diligently and always sounds so poised and balanced in her bytes about the show too. These other 2 need to learn a thing or two from her.
