Yup exactly. We have shows where the male leads torture/abuse the FL, cheat, show a crazy attitude. Zoya is not evil at all.. she just didn't wanna get married and she made it clear to Zain that she did not like him at the time of marriage and that shartnama was the reason to marry him. So whatever, is it that hard to see a man chase a woman for aur audience 😕?
It's like the audience only wants to see either dumb girls or holier-than-thou girls in dramas winning all the time; not someone who is wanting to be educated, and etc. I sometimes think some dramas get hated on cause they show a mirror to the audience too.. 😲
It was he who claimed his love, she didn't even have a liking for him. He said that I can do anything for you but she never believed him and asked for signing the contract. He said that reading the contract is an insult to my love. The audiences need to understand that it was not the typical situation in which 'both guy and girl fall in love with each other'. In Zain and Zoya's situation, only Zain fall in love with her and she accepted his love with some hesitation and doubts otherwise she would not have asked to sign the contract. Falling in love with Zain to door ki baat, as yet, she doesn't even trust in his love for her. He's proving his love to him by doing all these things. It is like those fairytales in which a princess asks to fulfill a number of tasks to marry her. Hence, Zoya not saying 'I love you' to Zain makes sense since she doesn't actually love him as yet. But yes, when our audiences are used to see only dumb or holier-than-thou girls in each drama then accepting a girl like Zoya is impossible for them.

I agree that it's something different to watch. Zoya is not like other girls but still i find her hypocrite.
Do you feel that this situation is realistic. I mean if someone does so much for you and that someone is your life partner then bandy ko pyar na sahi thora si likeness aur care aa hi jati hai. Unless untill you are too rude and stubborn.
If Zoya can do so much to be in good books of zain's family then At least she should give little value to her marital relationship.
As you said she didn't want to get marry with zain but she did after taking all those promises in form of that contact. And Somehow zain is trying to do so many efforts to fulfill that contact clauses. In return of those efforts, don't he deserve a little bit of care.
Yeah maybe our audience like dumb girls but Our audience also likes strong headed yet sensible girls. Who can do education and can value their relationships.

The show is quite unrealistic as have been quite a few shows in the past, cause I don’t think there would ever be anything like this between a couple in real life.
Yes he is fulfiling efforts, but my point was that we have a lot of shows where girls do everything for their husband but there is no appreciation, while in this show it’s just opposite and it’s realistic in the sense that not all relationships work out right away; you can’t just get two people married and expect to fall in love.
As for audience, I think strong headed and sensible girls are more appreciated on YT and online, because GPM had more appreciation online then on TV where Samiya was strong. Yet at the same time, Qayamat had Amar Khan’s charactwr who stayed speechless and weak and the show still gets surges in ratings.
Hola everyone!
Just rewatched episode 21...how much I love it....one of the best in this anyway fantastic series!
Started off on such a lovely note...it’s the little touches that this series has, that make it the GEM that it is...
Referring here, to Zain’s gesticulation, using his hands so effectively...when he tells Zoya...”main toh apni tarah se karta na”...to Zoya’s baby-faced interpretation of Zain’s taana...”good books” and all😀
As Zoya finally relents to Zain’s irresistible offer, the tone for the night was clearly set!❤️
Aur uske baad, from the conversation in the car...to the beach date....it was definitely a night to remember!!✨
The conversation in the car was HILARIOUS!! The Pisces-Taurus divide was beautifully done! 👍(incidentally, Pisces and Taurus are 2 signs which are actually quite right for each other, if Linda Goodman’s recommendations are anything to go by) 😀
It was the tone of this divide, and yet the completeness of it all....that was carried right through the end...the essence really, of the Zain-Zoya love story!
Zoya, being Zoya....had a rebuttal ready for every lovey dovey comment that Zain had in his kitty...Zoya’s “same” repartee to Zain’s “I love you” was ROFL to another level!😂😆😍 And the funniest part, it came after Zain was busy explaining his interpretation of “same” being “me too”, etc.! 🤣
And the proverbial cherry on the cake...you blink and miss it moment...at the fag end of the scene....as Zoya bursts out laughing, as she knows she’s teasing Zain....with Zain’s wave of the hand, as he utters yet again in sheer desperation...”Yeh kya hota hai...yeh bhi toh ek moment tha, Zoya!”🤗
The “pizza exchange” that followed was pure GOLD!😍
Was so naturally done...for a moment couldn’t tell, whether that was Danyal-Alizeh or Zain-Zoya! Hats off guys!👍👏👌
This post will obviously be incomplete without the iconic date night scene!!❤️
Started and ended in the same fun-filled note!🥳
The “dusri biwi, nahin teesri” touch was FAB...the mood of the evening was perfectly set...light-heartedness at the centre of it all...
Aur uske baad...Mashallah! What an iconic scene ensued!💗
Everything about it was just so natural...so fluid....a couple in love...and, their conversation...
Nothing fancy...nothing OTT...
Just a couple out on a date....and enjoying their me time together...
👏👏👏
My most stand-out moments...
The “husbaand and wife” touch....was actually laughing out loud, on hearing that!😀
Zoya’s “agar yeh film hota, toh do dhai ghante main khatam ho jati....humara toh zindagi bhar ka saath hai”...Zain’s acknowledgement of Zoya was a beautiful metaphor of how Zoya’s pragmatism completes Zain’s emotionality!
BRILLIANT use of symbolism, Team TB!👏
Thereafter, Zoya wanting to stay back instead of Zain insisting on the same...again, a nuanced moment, in the Zoya-Zain dynamic!👌
What a lovely sight it was to behold...to watch the absolutely adorable interludes....taking the cake was, the “tumhara bhai, nahin tumhara hero” moment...the prelude in a sense...before, Zain’s token of love for Zoya....ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together...presenting the glorious OST...in Danyal Zafar’s super melodious voice!👌
A standing ovation for that nuanced touch...of the natural background of the waves splashing against the shore....had a calm melody of its own...took the moment to an entirely different level!
👏👏👏
And finally, the “award ceremony” moment...as Zain continued to pull a fast one on Zoya with his...”Is award ka credit jaata hai Meri biwi ko bilkul bhi nahin”...once again, got the Danyal-Alizeh vibe within the Zain-Zoya one!❤️
Truly, most certainly, a very well written and executed scene!👍👌👏
And if one thought that this was it, knowing the awesome twosome....there was obviously more to follow....
It wasn’t just Zain and Zoya....even I found “par salaam toh aise hi karte hain” absolutely hilarious! :)
A heartfelt thank you, Team Tanaa Banaa
A special thanks to Danyal Zafar, Alizeh Shah, Saifee Hassan and Hassan Imam
This one’s for the history books....will always remain special!❤️
Cheers!

Hey Ctrl-Alt-Del...what an interesting user name!👍
Guess we’re interacting for the first time...
Thanks so much for this...
What a wonderful post by Danyal...there is something about the guy that is very endearing...
Had noticed this about him in his YouTube interview with Hassan as well...came across as a honest young man, who was not just articulate with a pleasant personality....but, genuine, with very high levels of self-awareness, especially for a 24 year old!
Even this post is so well-written...particularly, liked the fact that it’s not just about him, but a team effort with mention of Saifee ji and Alizeh as well.
Hope he continues to remain this way, and focuses all his energies on honing his craft, both histrionics and music!
God bless! :)
Cheers!

I m doing good
Hope you are doing fine
Totally agreed.
She needs to give importance to zain. Do bol pyar ky bol dy gi toh kya hojaye ga.
No Hajj occurs once a year at specific date but we can do Umrah anytime not on any specific date. Hajj is mandatory pilgrimages. Every Muslim who can afford Hajj, have to perform it at least once in their life.
Hey Nina! 🤗
Thanks so much for the clarification, Dear....
So, now I know the difference, thanks to my dear friend!😊
This is possibly the best part of forums like IF...not just exchange of views, but exchange of cultures as well!👍
Much love,
DocD
I’m so annoyed with Zoya. She was ready to jump out if a moving car, Zain didn’t throw her out. So he didn’t get on one knee and beg her to sit in the car. So annoying.

yes, definitely very progressive from ITV perspective for sure, I am so done with Indian TV shows, it doesnt even fit in "its so bad, its good" category😳
Hiya FL! *HUGSSS*
Hope all's fine with you...
You are so on point with ITV! Couldn’t have described it better...
It’s almost like even the attempt to do something different, ends up being so damn cliched! Even if a once in a blue moon show comes up with promise, they just have to ruin it with the TRP trappings! Urgh!!!
With Pakistani dramas, although most of them are formulaic as well, they do manage to produce some absolute gems at frequent intervals...at least one or two per year...
You take care, my Dear...

Totally, thats how the finale should pan out..with Zoya's much awaited confession yesterday was hilarious, when she said "same...I love me too"🤣 even Zain be like..what is this response " same, thank you ..me too"🤣🥺🤪 superb acting by both Zain and Zoya in the entire date night scene❤️
So happy to hear, that you loved day before yesterday’s episode too! 🤗🤗🤗
I too LOVED the “same” moment! Pun intended! 🤣
In fact, just written a long essay on the entire episode!😀
Ditto to your comment on the finale, as well as the both of them understanding the true essence of the contract...that shartnama it isn’t, but Mohabbatnama it is....that makes for a successful marriage!😊
Loads of love and talk to you soon...
