@bold: Agree on both these points. I guess the writers are going to eventually loop back to the core of the story but they are dragging out the Malini "resolution" phase for whatever reason.....dragging out her depression bechaargi daily isn't going to build more sympathy for her character or manage to make it "easier" for Adi-Imlie to get together.....lol I don't think it's serving the purpose they think it's serving.....only making people lose patience in stagnation cuz it's like all characters are in limbo waiting for Didi ka non-existent brain to process the truth and GTFO Tripathi house.....tab tak sabko suspended rakha hua hai which is a pretty crappy way of storytelling.

They need to give Imlie something positive or strong to do.....if she is meant to be shown cowering over the Didi subject, then change the subject and give her something else to talk about in college....don't get why that is so hard for them either🤔

I do not think we will ever get an Imlie who realizes Malini’s true nature. Kisi aur ko bhi nahin karwaenge I think. As long as they go back to the core of the story, we all can breathe 😆

Adi and Malini both have by this point EXPLICITLY said the words "Aditya never loved Malini"....but for some reason this basic point is SO hard for some people to comprehend.....I thought SPELLING something out helped with those who need spoonfeeding, no? 😆......but I guess not....lol

Cuz otherwise toh jinhone ne bhi 80 epis ke obvious signs ko ignore karna tha on the Adi-Malini front simply cuz he said formal I love yous to her (even when he barely made time for her😆) and did some PDA scenes, woh toh kar hi rahe hain....but amusing see that even after Adi/Malini have directly said that Adi never loved Malini, it makes no difference to the comprehension levels😆

Also hilarious to see ki first episode se Piya Tose Milne jo baj raha hai on Adi-Imlie is being so determinedly zoned out by some for their own imaginary reasons😆

Also the devotion that Imlie has for Dementor Didi is so one-sided that you only feel pity for her. In their fear of back lash from viewers regarding Adi-Imlie relationship developing even when he is married to Dementor Didi, the writers have made them completely blind against Dementor Didi's true nature. It is as if they are not allowed to have any negative thoughts about her even when warranted. They have to consider her as Mahaan to keep the feeling of guilt ongoing.

Basically Dementor Didi cannot be thought of in negative terms by any of the characters in- universe even though someone could have guessed or doubted her manipulative nature by now. Because once she is called out for this in the show, the writers cannot keep her as centrally relevant to Adi-Imlie. So they are just dragging this Dementor Didi torture phase. And frankly this is too much now.

You have articulated the current storyline perfectly. It is so hard to feel the connection between Aditya-Imlie because we barely get a couple of minutes of their scenes together in some of the episodes and all their conversations are related to Malini. When was the last time we got any honest conversation between them? Aditya had more say in Imlie's life when he had not accepted their marriage than he has right now. Imlie went to C house and Aditya is helpless, there is nothing he can do but meet her secretly in college? What is his logic for not gifting Imlie a cell phone from T family's side? All his thoughts also seem to revolve around Malini mostly. Yeah he thinks about Imlie, but in the same scene he is also thinking about Malini. Mostly it is okay but why can't we have an independent Aditya and independent Imline scene and Aditya-Imlie scene together where Malini is not the topic? It is like all the characters' emotions, T family and C family, are only for Malini. No one is allowed to feel or think of anything except Malini. And Malini is such a depressing character, there is so only so much the audience can take. We get her on-screen constantly and if other characters are shown on the screen, they are either thinking or talking about Malini.

To balance out Malini's depressing scenes, they could have shown Aditya-Rupi scene or Aditya-Amma phone call. In Aditya-Amma phone call, Aditya could have told her just enough to give her peace of mind and not the whole truth. Whole truth could be said in-person. Even Rupi di independently thinking about Adi-Imlie relationship would work.

Abhi bhi apparently confusion chal raha hai ki Adi “fell out of love with Malini” 🤷‍♀️😂 cuz 7 years ka rishta means it MUST be true love 😂.

Apparently Imlie is just some shiny young thing that “misled” Adi from his 7 year relationship 😂. And he will supposedly dump Imlie after 7 years too 🤣🤣

@Bold - Yehin toh problem hain. Aditya has claimed to never have loved Malini, Malini realized that too. But what about Malini? Did she really love Aditya? That is where I think Malini supporters (at least the genuine ones) are hating on Aditya & Imlie. They think Malini loved Aditya, invested 7 years in the relationship, and Aditya married Malini happily in front of the families and societies. And now, he realized achanak se he never loved Malini and is done with the relationship.

Yeah, writers did spend 100 episodes showing problems in Aditya-Malini relationship but the thing is, when he was loyal to Malini, it is hard to see why he could not be with her if Imlie was never in the picture. If we sit to analyze, it is very clear to us why Aditya-Malini were not right for each other. But the writers have never shown the characters contemplating their relationship. Aditya was shown contemplating this for a couple of scenes after PD trip and then that's it. At that time he was not even thinking of telling Malini the truth. He had just realized his feelings and thought that he had never loved Malini, she was just a friend to him. But why was she not right for him or why he was not right for her or why were they not right for each other? Why did he not fall in love with Malini? Malini was never shown contemplating anything but in the last episode reached the conclusion that she and Aditya are different. I expected Aditya, through his conversations with Imlie, Rupi di, Aparna (anyone?) would put his point across, thus conveying to the audience, why he thought Malini-Aditya were not right for each other, why he thought they would have broken up eventually, why did 7 years of relationship last if love was never there. This show clearly lacks in character contemplation scenes. They just show the audience, one scene after another and we have to connect the dots But what about the characters? Characters through conversations with other characters are supposed to show the audience the emotions/thinking behind the decisions instead of expecting the audience to remember 100 + episode scenes, analyze, and connect the dots to reach the same conclusion that the characters reached without their proper thought process shown.

Aditya never said I love you first to Malini, it's always token response.

He did try to say I love you( ofcourse imlie stopped him from confessing )or actually said it even in dream to Imlie.

I am not sure what is the audience expecting exactly while watching a show called- Imlie! Chalo 140 episodes could not get the point across but ab toh Mahan didi ne bhi bol diya hai hazar baar ki - this was not probably love from Adi's side, didi yeh bhi bol gayi ki they are so different.! How many more episodes or weeks will didi need, to make this point..kyunki baki toh people cannot see or comprehend na.
