I think it was around that time, the lion track she felt that this man is more than what meets the eyes..

Raghav, I agree has a soft spot for her even if he doesn't care to admit or show..

Pallavi has many more complications than what appears on the surface.. Yesterday's scene with Krishna was like a peak into the black hole of emotions she has locked up deep inside her.. why she is so devoted to the D's.. From inside she is still the broken girl who grieves the day she lost Mandhar, and holds on to the promises she made to him..

@bold... I so wish they tapped into this from time to time... like slow drip. It would help connect more with viewers. What she told Krishna made sense and it didn't seem out of place at all. She bottles up so much and really has no one to share he feelings with except dear Krishna.

I want to see Pallavi and Raghav have conversations with each other. I don't think they've ever had one. They have so much depth of emotions that are unexplored... I know it's not easy but once their minds are calmed maybe they will slowly communicate. Otherwise they will continue to make assumptions about each other, since they are both so great at hiding their true emotions and wearing this mask.

Exactly that, she felt intrigued.

Pallavi is complicated too, she's got a mysterious heart in that she never talks about her feelings. Raghav cries, he admits he's lonely etc. She never talks. She talks about the whole world, but not the world inside her. She must have had imagined a beautiful life with her husband, and when it comes crashing down on the wedding day, the trauma one goes through cannot be explained. The D's are probably a bit selfish too. They have not thought about her emotions, other than Aai and Nikhil. Baba goes ahead and gets a heart attack, the others carry on with their life, with her as their unpaid worker. The two girls are also grown ups, how comes they never ask her if she needs help. I'm so done with them. Only Aai and Nikhil are good.

I really want to learn more about this world inside her. I know they may be reserving this for a future track and I hope they do it justice, but from time to time, little glimpses are important. The last time she talked about Mandaar this way was much earlier in the show. It's been a while.

I find it quite refreshing that they have this role reversal. Typically on ITV the MLs hold all their emotions in while the FL has all these monologues, bouts of crying and expressing their pain and happiness.

Exactly.. As an audience we know what Raghav craves for eventhough we don't know the details of what happened in his past.. He opens up to Farhad and pours his heart out when it gets too much to hold back.. but Pallavi? We hardly have an idea of how much she is holding back? She still keeps going to police station to enquire about Mandhar..why? I wish they had thrown some light on that...Does she believe his death/accident/disappearance was not natural? Fact is this girl, barely got a chance to grieve her husband and all that tide of emotions she never lets out.. ever, infront of anyone! She has always put Mandhar's family before her own needs, desire or even grief.. If they lost their son, she lost her husband, her future too..No one talks about that.. The driving force in her life are the promises she made to her deceased husband.. that's what kept her going so far, taking care of her husband's family, treating them as her own.. Now that's gone.. how lost she must be feeling...

It's like part of her soul is gone. No wonder she looks like that during the wedding and no wonder she collapsed. It's too much. She now feels she cannot fulfill her promises to Mandaar.

If that's not devotion and love, I don't know what is. How many people can expect that from a widowed spouse? Mandaar was fortunate, for sure. It may not have been romantic love, or maybe it was but we don't know enough about their dynamics to say with certainty. Pallavi's idea of love is more about a connection of two souls. Ironically, so is Raghav's but they are unware of each other's thinking in this matter. What Pallavi said to him about her perspective on marriage, when she accepted the deal, will come back to him later and he will realize that they aren't so different from one another, after all.

With Pallavi, apart from her undying love for Deshmukhs, and her kindness, we haven't been shown much about her life and what she has faced. Woh kahawat hai na, "Shaant pani gehra hota hai". Pallavi is that mystery waiting to be solved by Raghav Rao.

Yes she is that mystery and I'm hoping the writers do justice to it. She is always associated with water and while we have seen a lot of what Raghav's fire can do, I am looking forward to what the deep waters that is Pallavi actually holds.

Tu keh rahi thi na, focus hamesha Raghav pe raha hai..Now I think about it, there could be a reason for it..Pallavi apno se ghire hone ke baad bhi akeli rahi.. Raghav ko paraye mein bhi koi apna sa mila jo genuinely uski karta hai..Farhad.. he has him as his brother, well wisher, drinking buddy, punching bag, his conscience keeper.. family away from family.. Through Farhad and Raghav's interaction with Farhad we got a good sneak peak into Raghav's inner thoughts emotions.. Pallavi ke paas aisa koi nahi hai..Krishna is not the same as Farhad and even if she were Pallavi is not the one to wallow in self pity. Kal bhi Krishna se baat karte huye she was only concerned about who is going to take care of that family after she is gone.. She is a closed book in that sense.. Raghav will have to make a lot of effort to break those walls she has put up around her ..

And this will only happen when he starts to think about someone other than himself. Pallavi always tells him that he doesn't understand other people's pain because he can't think beyond his own sphere. Well, something has to propel him. The widow reveal may be it, or some other compelling event in their lives.

It's sad that neither of these two can actually talk to their family members about their pain. I don't think Raghav could ever open up to Amma or Keerti about what he's been through and how his wounds are still raw, at least, not just yet. He lashes out because he is in pain, as we saw briefly during the sangeet, but that's all we get from him right now. Farhad is the closest person, not just because Raghav trusts him and loves him like family, but also because Farhad has a high EQ and is so perceptive, he gets Raghav without being explicitly told stuff. Krishna is that to Pallavi to a certain extent but as you said, it's harder to read her.

Somehow, the spotlight has been put on Raghav. Whereas the story initiated with a woman who is a widow and refuses to be married again. But the spotlight has shifted to Raghav. It could be that when Raghav begins to take interest in his wife, he will only unravel details about her. Cause Pallavi on her own won't give it out to him.

I think they never imagined the character to be such a hit and the novelty factor of having a well-written ML character helped a lot. I don't mind if he's the one to unravel the details, just get it done. I know ITV usually has female-centric stories but in this case I would prefer they stick to their current approach. It would be much more believable and better for TRPs.

Also, with the supporting characters, I understand they need them but must they be so annoying? All shows have side characters but smart writers know how to enhance the story through them. Forget other shows, even here, look at how much we're appreciating Farhad and even Harish from day 1, who aren't technically Raghav's family. It's because they help move the story forward but are not written as plain and stereotypical characters. I can't say the same for the Deshmukhs. Also, I believe that not having more of her dada and vahini was a big miss on the writers' parts. That dynamic may never explored in the show, which is a total shame. Siddesh is a good man and I refuse to believe he would stop being invested in his sister's happiness, unless we discover difference facet of his later, if ever.

Look it should be balanced. Less BWA and Deskmukhs.

Besides, with Raghav around, why do we need extra vamps and villains. If they need villains, bring people like Lion or other enemies back.

Agree. Deshmukhs are written for TRP aunties. 🤣
