It is always mentioned that Arunita is from Kolkata - that is not a fact. She lives in Bongaon, a city in North 24 parganas district. It is almost 90 kms from Kolkata and is a 3 hour drive from the city.

Though not in Kolkata, it is almost like a part of Kolkata because the entire area connecting Kolkata with Bongaon is mainly urban. It is like someone staying in Vasai - he/she will say Mumbai. Vasai it at least 75kms from Mumbai.

All Bengalis have a pet name aside from their official given name. I have heard someone (Mother or friends) mention that name in a broadcast clip. Did anyone catch that pet name?
