Not saying Pakhi wasn’t dumb. Even with that promise Pakhi should have thought about Samrat. If Samrat had been there and if Pakhi had spent enough time with him she might have moved on. Would she deny Samrat the rights of a husband just coz Virat was around or would she want Virat to remain single the rest of his life and see her move on with her husband? She has been selfish too. But by making that dumb promise Virat gave Pakhi the right to dictate terms to him. In the spur of the moment he made that promise but could he not think what his mother would have gone through after knowing that? Virat being her only son she craved for a daughter in the form of a daughter in law. Someone who would respect her and be loving towards her. Especially after the way that horrible family treats her. Ashwini would have also wanted grandchildren she could play with. Was it right on Virat’s part to make that promise? He would have deprived Ashwini of the joys she once dreamt of with that dumb promise. When Virat made that promise Pakhi felt that no matter who she would marry Virat would be hers. Pakhi is selfish to the last bone in her body. But Virat is dumb as well.

Yep. He wanted his brother to be happy coz his brother had taken a liking to Pakhi. The decision to marry should have been with Pakhi alone. That promise made no sense whatsoever. By making that promise he bound himself to her and her to him. He lured her into thinking that she will have a fall back option. Not saying he ever intended to cheat his own brother but that was the impression he gave.

Kehte hain na josh mein hosh kho dena. 😆 Bechara, it looked like Pakhi was his first crush ever. At the age of 27 he became a teenager. 🤣 Toh just like in our teenage years we think our crush is the only and final love. Nahin mila toh zindagi bhar kisi aur se pyaar na ho paayega type. 😆 Toh waise hi vaada kar liya without thinking he will grow up and find his true love. 😆

The thing is he doesn't have much option if they have to live under the same roof as 'relatives'. So, to actually not be cordial (friendly) -- which is all that he's offering her -- he will have to move out of the house with Sai on a new posting because she is not going to go anywhere. It shouldn't be difficult for Virat to go out on a posting but that can't happen while we're watching the show 😜😅🤷
