I'm going to review Marvel's Daredevil.

This show is centered around Matt Murdock, a character from Marvel comics.

It's about an orphaned blind lawyer who becomes a vigilante at night. He went blind as a child, and in return he got heightened senses. He's a strong Catholic and therefore lives by the rule of never ever killing someone.

He believes that no one deserves to die, no matter how bad they are. He trusts the law. He believes no matter how powerful a person is, if he's a criminal, then he would get punished by the law no matter what.

The show focusses on the internal struggle of Matt, that whether he should live by the code of trusting the law and not killing any criminal.

Marvel's Daredevil makes the audience ponder on some interesting questions like,

Is it okay to kill criminals and call it justice?

Does nobody deserve to die no matter how bad they are?

Are some people really above the law?

The philosophy of Matt is questioned by another vigilante Frank Castle (Punisher) who believes that criminals only deserve to die. According to him, Daredevil is a half measure, as the criminals whom Matt puts in prison easily come back to the streets after some time and continue doing whatever they do.

The main antagonist of the show is Wilson Fisk, a powerful and corrupt businessman, who believes himself to be the hero of the story. He's not a completely evil character despite being a villain. He has humanity in him, which he shows to his mother, friend and lover, and he has his own tragic backstory.

The show also portrays an interesting parallel between Matt and Fisk, as both love New York City, the place where they live, and both trying to do good for it in their own way. But they still clash as they don't approve with the ways of each other.

Daredevil is also about Matt's struggle of living a double life. It shows how his life as a vigilante effects his relationships with his friends.

Overall, Daredevil is an entertaining show, with a strong script, direction, àlong with awesome cinematography and action sequences.

What makes Daredevil special is that he's still a human despite being a superhuman. He gets wounded, injured, beaten up, even ends up being half dead while fighting his enemies.

Despite having all the regular masala to make the show an entertainer, it is also a character study on Matt, Fisk, Frank and other supporting characters as well.

Marvel's Daredevil's all three seasons are available on Netflix.

Truth

Currently my fav show is The Mentalist. A famous "psychic" starts working as a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation so he can find "Red John", the madman who killed his wife and daughter. Let me tell u all about this series. This series has it all: surprising plot twists, humor, long satisfying story, well-drawn characters who change and grows at right propotion, murders, action, revenge, more humor, & memorable dialogues, suspense, and romantic stories without too much PDA. All characters are likable but complex and have a lot of depth. Locations and plots are varied and interesting. Never a dull episode, and unlike many series, the final episodes offer a satisfying conclusion.

Anyways let me tell you about Jane, Well what not to like about Patrick Jane, he is so charming, funny, kind, deceiving and the best physchic we have ever seen. Many tried to copy him but all failed as no one comes even 1% close to our Patrick Jane. He is witty, sarcastic, arrogant at times, manipulative and extremely intelligent with an extraordinary IQ and memory. He is gonna trap you into his wide skills of observation, manipulation, cold reading, mind bending tricks & ideas. The way he solves the cases is magnificent to watch and so so intriguing. This guy can literally get inside the minds of the smartest & the toughest criminals and manipulate them to do things his way. You're gonna love him every single moment of the show.

If this doesnt hook you in then their is the sizzling chemistry of Patrick jane and Elizabeth Lisbon. Their relationship is so beautiful, their friendship is so pure. They have a chemistry and credibility so rare that it's simply wonderful to watch every single scene. They are so cute and so mature and always their for each other and always back each other up.

Let me tell you more about The CBI team (california bureau of investigation) team i.e Cho, Rigsby, Jane and Lisbon and Van Pelt really become a truly lovable team and they somehow create a sense of home.

Okay now i am getting distracted, just look at Patrick Jane, what a charmer

To sum it up, please watch this series as soon as possible and you wont regret it ever. You will want to binge watch it everyday and when its over you be like why did it ended so soon. Just mindblowing and its available in Prime which I am sure most of the people have. If not prime then their is always telegram😉

And no I am not saying that because this show isn't worthy or because I don't wish to be it's publicist. Trust me when I say you would only see it's promos if I started marketing it.

But the reason for me saying this is because this show shouldn't need convincing. Yes it's that good a show.

Reason no. 1) It's an ITV show which surprisingly agrees that a word meaning regressive is there in the dictionary. { Are you surprised? So was I🤓}

Reason no. 2} The amazing star cast. Like they are amazing. Let me tell you why

You see this cute innocent lady in the above picture? Yup that's the FL. And a damn good one. Have you seen those nonsensical FLs who shout at the top of their voice that they wont let their self respect go down the drains and to do the complete opposite? {Dont pretend you haven't heard about them atleast} This lady is totally the opposite of it. She wont be like mera swabhimaan mera abhimaan wali tyaag devi. The girl is dignified. She is a lady who is mature who knows she needs to fight for her rights but also is a girl who has a child like innocence. Who is extremely bubbly with her close ones. I would say she is the main person you should watch the show for. She loves the ML but when she got to know his regressiveness she herself knows she will love him but won't give in at the cost of her self respect. This is character is my favourite of all the characters. And when the ML's ex fiancee came in she didn't become all nonsensical, instead she was dignified and told the ML indirectly that she is okay with it. Mature and dignified and someone who wont be a doormat. {If this doesn't convince you, I dont know what will but lets see other stuff}

Do you see this hottie? Baad me drool karlena ab suno ML ki kahani. The guy is such an amazing actor yaar. Its hard not to fall for a character when actor portrays it so damn well. Okay so the beauty of this show is that the ML's regressive nature isn't some parampara hai toh regressive thing. He though is extremely wrong to be a misogynist but isn't the typical with no reason misogynistic ML of ITV. However wrong he is he has a reason. The reason being that his mother left him in his father's care. The guy was brainwashed by his Paternal aunt into believing that his mother left because she wanted to build up her career and hence he felt cheated. As a child the manipulation made him regressive and that makes the show beautiful. They gave us a reason instead of just putting it on us saying the guy is regressive. Why? no one answers. And afterwards, he understands he's wrong in his thinking. Yes due to years of brainwashing the man is taking baby steps. But now he knows that he was wrong in thinking like this. He knows now. And also he isn't a blind follower of his paternal aunt whom he respects so much. When he has to confront her he does. And he isn't egoistic, when he knew he has done wrong, extremely wrong he will apologize. The time when his ex fiancee came in, he immediately rushed to the FL to sort out misunderstandings. He immediately went to the FL to make her understand that she has misunderstood him. He isn't the silent stone like ML. He was a misogynist but now he is different.

And let me come to some people out here who love our FLs aka 3rd and 4th wheels {ShauHirians you know I am doing this for convincing...hence dont get mad at me okay.}

This Police ki wardi main do you see this man? He is the Second male lead aka ACP Ahir. You know what's amazing about this man? That when he got to know Anokhi loves Shaurya he didnt be like main Anokhi ko pakar hi rahunga. Instead he was happy for her and helped Shaurya prepare for her birthday. This guy is so sweet I tell you. He is the best friend you can ever get. He knows Anokhi will never love him and it is evident when Anokhi and Shaurya had an misunderstanding he didnt see this as an opportunity to make Anokhi like him. Instead he was taking care of her as friend would. Ahir is one of the best SMLs I have seen. The guy is simply too good. And damn his scenes with the ML are too entertaining man

Do you see this beautiful woman above? This is the antagonist or as I like to call her the anti hero. She isn't delusional thinking that she can have Shaurya. She knows he loves Anokhi and herself is not sure about whatever is happening. One of those scenes where, were she tells his paternal aunt that she sees him happy with Anokhi and she isn't needed here. The girl doesn't want this subconsciously. She wants Shaurya to love her but she knows he loves Anokhi and if it wasn't for Shaurya's Paternal Aunt then I am sure she wouldn't have even come between them. Hence I like her portrayal a lot.

All in all, the show isn't bad. I wont say its the best but its not bad. Its youthful with some drama here and there. And the chemistry man the chemistry between two of the leads is crackling

You see this? This is what I am talking about. They never pushed down romantic elements forcefully. Its not romantic. Its just someone seeking comfort in someone else

See this? He is that elder person who is taking care of someone younger who is scared. Nothing romantic but makes you feel warm. The care for the student was so much visible. And not much touchy also

Even the beautiful friendship of Ahir and Anokhi is damn heartouching

Hence I feel that you should try it!

PS: And last reason even Appy loves the show so you should watch is Sam!!!
