Its not about revenue, they cant have traffic coming to their site be diverted. also hotstar had shitty UI/UX compared to youtube. I can still understand the logic from business stand point. The shows on star classic were not original programming, dusra they didnt even put those content on hotstar after they took the channel down. MJHT and DMG was really popular on YT
