Kya Amma jaanti hai?

Kya Raghav ki amma jaanti hai unka beta Ramaswamy banke anathashram chala raha hai? Agar nahi toh Raghav batata kyon nahi? Amma ko impress karne ke liye shadi me khana parosne ya Pallavi se shadi karne ki kya zaroorat hai?

Raghav feels his Amma wont hear him or believe him.

Kyunki uske liye buddhi jyaada honi chahiye aur ego kam. Raghav ka ulta hai. Dono ka combination ziddh ko janam deta hai, jiski wajah se Raghav ko apni chalane ki hai. In short, Anna ka kuch nahi ho sakta.

Regarding Amma, if he had so much ego he would never have gone back to her begging for forgiveness. Instead no matter how many times they reject him he keeps going back to them . That's not something a egoistic selfish man would do. Just my opinion.

Sorry to disagree. If he was so egoistic he would have felt humiliated every time Pallavi answered back to him. But he was happy and liked her standing upto him. Not something an egoistic and ziddi man would do.

Ego is an issue. Yes he enjoys his banters with Pallavi, but he does feel insulted that a woman stands up to him. It's a game for him. To break her and have fun. This is ego.

Yes, he apologises to his Amma, but does he act on his apology. Has he done anything to change himself. He surely knows what his mother wants of him, but he doesn't want to do it. What is the obstinacy about? He wants them to accept his trash behavior and actions. He knows it hurts them, but he doesn't change. His love for his family and his charitable work definitely humanizes him, but doesn't excuse or absolve him. He doesn't want to change. Ye ego issue hi hai. Ego ka matlab hamesha arrogance nahi, it has layers to it - self absorbed, selfish, stubborn, all are just aspects highlighting the Hyderabad ka Don wala ego. That's what my reading of his character tells me.

I think at one point, when the secretary to the Ashram lady had called him on his personal line, he said he didn’t want his name attached to the Ashram bc it would give them bad media. He wanted to be a part of the organization without his image being a detriment. I mean we haven’t really seen him do stereotypical gunda things (other than wave a gun at the courier dude, beat up people in random spaced episodes) so I’m confused what exactly makes people fear him other than his wealth and callous business deals .. but yeah he has a rep that he didn’t want tarnishing the elderly home.
