Funny how he thinks she cannot be behind that bomb blast or car accident but she is actually behind something so shitty.. he has known her longer and better than Amma or Farhad and yet he assumes all these things..

Exactly, it's funny how he was the only one who didn't think she went through the abortion and proved her right and in this whole thing it never occurred to him that maybe this time too she was being played, that was dumb on his part!!

This, exactly, is Raghav Rao. Since when did he start caring about his actions? I still think he was the reason behind his father and brothers death. If that did not change him, I don’t know what can...maybe age, time, pain and rock bottom. He is not delusional, he’s self absorbed to a certain extent but he’s a bit complicated because he does show care time and again, just that no one can tell when he will switch. He’s like an on and off switch, highly unstable and highly electrical 🤣

Pallavi - exactly what I wanted. Silence. Golden silence. When someone is crapping from their mouth, do them the honor or keep silent until they’re done with their trash and leave. Silence is better than giving it back, especially in such grave situations. Giving it back to him just means that he’ll open his mouth again, which no one wants right now. Raghu, just shut it. For your sake too, the more that mouth opens, the deeper the grave you’re digging for yourself. Now would be a right time to practice Morn vrat.

So he does exactly what is expected of him.. use his money to buy her exit from his life.. typical Raghav!! I mean the audacity of this man.. I quote him, " mene tumse tumhara ghar kya chhina tum leech ki tarah meri amma se jake chipak gaya" I mean😆he literally destroyed her life and she is supposed to keep quiet? she told the truth when his amma asked.. she could have gone to his amma and told everything but she didnt.. and he lectures her about being a leech, usool and adarsh.. Pallavi's complete silence in that scene is very much appreciated because trash talk of that level doesnt deserve any response or retaliation..What she did with the money is even more appreciated. This is the kind of treatment Raghav hopefully gets from her after marriage. A very important development today.. Jaya Rao learning about Pallavi being a widow... Raghav will obviously be forced to marry her but I wanna see how Pallavi is convinced to make the commitment..

Exactly, this is why Sai has been successful at this role and why many are still rooting for RR instead of writing him off. If he hadn't managed to do it, the whole show would have fallen flat, and I'm not exaggerating. Raghav become successful and powerful at a young age, lost his innocence much earlier than he needed to, and saw a lot of harsh things in life. It would be unrealistic to think all that wouldn't have made him cynical and bitter, messed up, etc. and I believe that even when he is on the path to redemption, he will always be a little rough around the edges. I am totally fine with that, because it would be realistic.

I think they had always planned to have a strong ML presence and arc for this show unlike most of the serials we see and as much as it as story of a new life for her, it one of redemption and a second chance at life for him.

I had initially wondered why they chose to have Pallavi be a widow instead of divorced or single, but now I understand that it was to help Raghav eventually see that other people have suffered a lot in their lives but the way they choose to move on in life and behave with others is completely up to them, i.e. your happiness is in your own hands.

Agree.. but I dont know why some people if any, would be writing Raghav off.. Yes he is erratic, majorly messed up in his choices and behaviour but that is part of the core of the whole story.

@bold - exactly this..and that is why I dont see a lot of justification in the things he does..though I understand that a tragedy in a person's life can impact an individual differently ans Raghav needs to see that it doesnt have to be a negative one..

I really hope they address this at some point, as in why he is so fixated to pinning the blame on her for this.

In both these cases, his family was directly involved. In the first case his mother was hospitalized, in the second case Keerti and her reputation was maligned. And in both cases, he has proven his instability. And this is the same man whose mind becomes a big "shunya" coming to Pallavi. His care is extreme for both subjects. Family is positively and Pallavi is negatively. I just shudder thinking what will happen when he is in love with Pallavi. It will again be extreme. This guy runs on zero balance and needs no recharge.😆He is unstable.

Exactly!! He is self absorbed, narcissist and selfish.. I dont know why people get offended by being called selfish.. its the most common human trait but yes it becomes problematic when besides putting your interests first, you care a damn about others or rather go out of the way to hurt or harm them... I think Raghav is delusional too.. how else one can explain his complete lack of understanding of what his amma expects of him..he gets them a freakin microwave amidst all the drama happening around him😆 sometimes I think he knows exactly what he needs to do but he doesnt, one his ego, second denial and third he sees no hope for himself..like this is me, I cant change, accept it or leave it..Whatever it is, he is caught in a web now.. and he will have to face his demons..no more running, no more ducking...

Sohini, disappointment usse hoti hai jisse koi expectations ho.. as far as Raghav goes, Pallavi can never trust him after how he bluffed her into signing those papers.. she is never gonna expect anything good out of him after how he lied about their affair.. its futile to waste any tear, any anger, any emotion on him... And that's how she should remain till the time he shows any repentance for his actions.. I can not tell how happy I am that she used the money to pay the bills..

Raghav is plain delusional about his life as much as Pallavi is about that horrid masquerade party of a family. Everyone has their own agenda, except Sharda and Nikhil. The amount of torment Pallavi is suffering, I don't want CVs to sanitize it with Raghav's past trauma. Suffering is not biased. It impacts everyone. It's your attitude that matters. And Raghav's attitude is plain unpleasant. Please CVs, itna request rakhlo, ki bande ko naako chane chabwana, please.

Pallavi is disappointed and she expressed it to Jaya. So yes, he did matter, even a little. But, that door also is closed because of his actions. He needs to understand that he is wrong and no excuse can make up for his behavior. He needs to work on himself.
