They did cut the conversation between Virat - Pulkit and added a conversation with Aai.

I think when Virat goes to Pulkit's house to apologise he says that Sayi might be at Ghadchiroli. And, then Virat says he will go and apologise but he's not sure if she'll return or not. So, maybe this way Pulkit figured out that she didn't return with him.
