Ishq Jalebi (GEO) Wahaj Ali , Madiha Imam , Usama Khan - Page 13

I saw the writer or chupke chupke and Ishq Jalebi's interview and I think she has a clear thought process, intelligent woman.

When asked about why chupke chupke has more hype. Her reasons were :

1. Chupke chupke is more commercial while Ishq Jalebi is more sanjeeda (subtle)

2. Hum Ramdan series are more popular thanks to Suno Chanda

3. Amna pointed out another reason - Ayeza and some other guy (Arslan or Arsaal I don't remember) who are extremely popular.

Apart from this writer said that she has written Ishq Jalebi with her whole heart as Bauji's character is inspired from her father in law

And also coz it was more difficult writing for it as she had to infuse light moments after emotional scenes to create that perfect balance. And she said that she wanted to send message through this show but in a very fun and light manner instead of in your face, direct message.

She is happy that Ishq Jalebi is getting critical acclaim.

She is happy with the response both shows are getting.

Also Bade mamu will be suffering from covid so it would be interesting to see how it unfolds in the show.

Also is anyone aware of Wahaj's new drama ?

It is based on cricket as far as I know and Nauman Ijaz is a part of it and Hareem and Zubab (don't know them) are female leads.

That’s actually what my parents like about this show.. that not everyone is too jumpy and loud or too emotional and depressed 😆

That is what I love about this drama too. 😊

It's not loud. There is a right balance of homour and emotions

It's easy to make people laugh by loud expressions and hamming but quite difficult to do comedy in a subtle way.

Cast and writing of this drama is really good. I hope writing remains solid till the last episode

Is it another one apart from Yorker? That one was also cricket based and a short film but it did not have Norman Ijaz. I only know of them doing show together in Dil Na Umeed to Nahi?

Nope it is something new. Speculations are there that it is a new drama

So far all i know is that Wahaj, Nauman, Hareem and Zubab Rana are in it and it is based on cricket.

I think both Hareem and Wahaj are playing cricketers. I guess it will focus on a girl's dream to become a cricketer

Apart from this i don't have any other info.

Finally Basim is feeling something for bella. He did not like her engagement nd rishta stuff and he is fighting with vicky as he is jealous from vicky.

Waiting for bella's engagement. Basim will then clearly understand his feelings for Bella.

Awww. Basim is jealous. He will probably realize wat his feelings r tomorrow.
