I agree 1000% I too don't want it to be juvenile at all but I'm just preparing my heart just in case they make it so. I just watched the episode now.

I must say:-

1. They've handled Pallavi's character VERY WELL! I'm happy about that

2. Sharda - She's my new favorite (and Nikhil)

3. The old lady who asks for donation - That one kind of set things in motion by indicating that things are actually going to get really serious and when it comes to RR and his repentance, God will play a big part. It's got to be serious.

4. Keerti and Amma - they are already superstars, now they're rockstars! Keerti is such a strong woman, she got it from her Amma. RR is strong too but on a different path altogether. But Keerti and Amma are definitely stronger than RR.

I guess the divide has been set in this episode i.e. who is on what side.

Her revenge I guess will be her silent protest by wearing white. It's going to haunt him to death. Even when I started watching this show, that's the feeling I got from her. She's emotionally strong, he is not. She will definitely break him emotionally (together with breaking his arrogant nose = PS : Sai has a beautiful nose, I don't know what others girls see, I see the nose. God worked meticulously to design that nose) and it's what he deserves too. I also feel that once he breaks completely, he will start mending his ways because nothing else will make him do this. His belief system will be questioned, his thought process will be questioned and his way of living will be questioned when these three women come to live with him. So far he's been a careless bachelor, now he may start seeing life in a different light...

I sincerely wish to watch serious stuff but just on ITV...I keep my hopes limited hence all the jokes 😆

Edited: Silent protest by women works wonders, it also breaks down dynasties. A good example is Gandhari and her silent protest. Many believe she blindfolded herself out of love. I believe that she blindfolded herself to begin her silent protest. Her blindfold was a thorn in the eyes of everyone around her, the wounds could never get better because everyday, her mere sight would make them bleed.....She too played a great part in bringing down an entire dynasty, how? Silent protest.

Gandhi ji did too...hahaha I have digressed. History class ends now, in RR style, mereko lecture nai hona.

I dont know how well they will handle their post marriage revenge drama, but I know I don't want it to be a juvenile, frivolous fight over bed, bathroom etc.. Its obvious they are not going to share a bed or maybe even a room but I would like them to be in the same room atleast coz it will add to the drama and we want it. lol But as far as revenge goes, I want her to initially stick to what she says in the promo '' paiso ke ghamand to todungi'' its befitting for a man who is blinded with arrogance of the power of his money. Remember he threw money on her face.. ?! Break that arrogance.. So here's what I want..at some point I hope she comes to know about the charity work he does using Ramaswamy's name.. She should go there and spend most of time there (which is gonna irk him and we want him to remain irritated 24*7), bond with the old men/woman there..cook their food, attend to the sick, and spend Raghav's money to renovate the place so that the people living there have fun plus quality life... The people there, from the staff to the old people bond with Pallavi and praise her saying that Ramaswamy only spend limitless money on this place but never actually took time out to take care of the way his wife did.. Raghav should hear this and burn.. Similarly at home also, I want scenes where Pallavi slowly makes a personal one on one bond with each and every staff of his house.. Raghav, shouts at them for one thing or the other and Pallavi comes to their rescue..help them clean up the mess if they split coffee or broke a vase that angers Raghav... In short, Pallavi becomes the the ''maalkin'' of the house in true sense and everyone loves her.. amma and Keerhti also praise her qualities.. All this is gonna make Raghav very pissed in the beginning but slowly I am sure he will also start appreciating her qualities.. She can also start working in Jayathi jewellery on Amma's insistence.. and do the same thing there..

I also saw the episode just few hours back. And I must say that Sharada did the unthinkable. My admiration for her has gone up several notches.. To actually not fall for her husbands cheap antics and walk out outta that door with Nikhil !?!? I mean.. she took everyone by surprise. Nikhil is such a darling..deserves much more credit than he gets in the show.. I want to see them even after the story focuses on RR mansion drama.. Pallavi's words to Ayi and even to Manasi has givene hope..that we are going to see a very different version of her from here on.. Even while acknowledging Ayi's concern and support, she did point out that no one spoke a word in her support when Raghav was lying through his teeth.. This is the Pallavi I want to see.. she always had the fighting spirit but now she needs to free herself of all family ties, even Ayi and Nikhil and live for herself, her pride.. put herself first, be practical, street smart.. I want her to be lil selfish if needed.. The old lady asking for charity outside RR mansion, was successfully able to let the guilt on Raghav's face peak through his calm exterior.. his eyes trying to avoid her, that cover up anger and irritation.. it was al over his face... I am soooo waiting for him to find out that Pallavi is staying with Amma and Keerthi.. I can imagine his frustrated angry face but to watch it on him will be worth it..

You are right.. about the silent treatment..and I love the analogy of Gandhi. Gandhari, not sure, because as far as I remember, Gandhari didnt blind fold herself to protest but to show solidarity with her husband who was also blind. I think, the main facilitator of Mahabharat was Draupadi .. But Gandhi yes..we need that kinda non cooperation and in Pallavi's case non-compliance in actions rather than in words.. dont wanna see tu tu mein mein and silly nok jhoks.

Yup! everything she said about being an easy target especially when it comes to defamation is something every woman in this world can relate to. At every stage of life, women are always more answerable and frankly, a really easy target while men walk away. Scot free. Look at how Raghav walked away. There were so many people there, they all judged her but it takes two people to a relationship, if we see it that way. But no one was disappointed in Raghav. Why? It's okay, he's a man...Her dialogues outside her shop were bang on!

I also feel that Sharda must have gone through a lot coz she admitted her husband is Kaan Ka Kacha. Women of those days suffered in silence and I somehow feel that with Pallavi by her side, she's definitely received more strength, she too confirmed this. Sometimes we fail to see the pain, sacrifice, sufferings and insults women of a household must have faced to just keep it "A happy family". A lot of things are brushed under the carpet and the pretense goes on forever.

Mansi - She represents those people who trust too quickly and also leave you quickly, at the drop of a hat.

Farhad - He is rock solid when it comes to his principles. He is immensely loyal, but his loyalty does not blind him. I love this character and wish to see more on him.

Yea, you're right, of course Draupadi was the catalyst of Mahabharat. She is a different discussion altogether, the more we say about her, the more awestruck we will be. What a woman!!! Salute to her spirit and love! About Gandhari (just my alternative take since Mahabharat was a spider's web, the more we try to dwell into their lives, the deeper we get trapped into it).

I see.. oh yes Mahabharat can have so many interpretations.. its so intricate and deep..THE most complete, awe inspiring drama of all times. I agree with what you said about Sharda.. she represents those quintessential house wives we see sacrificing everyday for "parivar ki sukh shanti" which is why her actions pleasantly surprised me. Though Sharda has not been submissive..she does voice her opinion in family matters.. Still, what she she did is commedable.. I also feel, that her stand goes beyond her love for Pallavi.. its about taking a stand for herself too.. about what she feels is right.. I agree, having Pallavi by her side, did make her feel empowered too.. I also feel, that somewhere she is inspired by Pallavi too.. who strives to have her own identity in a society where women are identified by their husband, father or children's name..

Philips leaves his lifestyle of being an alpha male, remained as a prince forever in the shadows of his queen. Its been noted that he always remained a step behind the queen purposefully, taking over the full control of the household and let her reign peacefully till his last breath as the longest serving consort.

Not only that, he's probably the only male public figure whose children don't have his surname. They showed this in The Crown. Not sure if you've watched that show.

I have read this too, the continuation to the story is the queen declared later that the male-line in the family would use Mountbatten-windsor as the surname if they have to use one. Mountbatten relates to Philip and Windsor is the queen's family surname. Such a lovely couple they were, walked hand in hand for their whole lives, broke the norms for each other.

I love the discussion going on here actually. It's quite nice to see, people thinking of ways that Raghav should get tortured😆. And people are interested in serious revenge stuff.😎

But ITV has taught me, that this revenge is just bogus. When Pallavi first threatened Raghav saying, "Aisa barbaad karungi, ki uth kar khade hone layak nahi rahoge" after the MMS kaand, we saw what happened. It was reduced to juvenile tantrums and nokjhok only. So, trust me, when I say, I am not at all expecting any serious "revenge" games here. I am expecting juvenile, lame husband-wife tricks.

I would be surprised if they show Pallavi doing something fruitful. And frankly, if you ask, I agree with most as I myself have believed about Pallavi - the silent treatment.

Her nonchalance, her lack of investment in this marriage, her compassion and kindness for everyone but Raghav, is going to irk him. Cause this is the kind of thing, he would want to hurl at her and generate reactions for his pleasure. But getting it from Pallavi will surely mess up his already messed-up system.

Secondly, residing in the same room with Pallavi. She is a beautiful woman. I mean I hope, that they don't restrict her wardrobe to just sarees, but suits as well. But yes, her decking up simply just for herself, or taking a shower and cluelessly wandering in and around his room, and Raghav struggling to hold himself together would be quite a torture. Where he dished out at her home, that she slept with him, his married life will be the opposite of all that nonsense😆. She will always draw lines and boundaries between them, and he will struggle to cross that threshold.

Additionally, I have mentioned, her admiration and respect for the dead husband, from whom she never wanted to move on. That will trigger different feelings in him too. The dedication for a man she knew for mere hours or even days and the sense of responsibility for the said man's family, will pique his curiosity and drive his jealousy as the "husband" in her life, whom she does not even consider one.

The idea is to challenge that he cannot use money to buy a wife. A wife can be a friend, guide, support system, lover all at the same time. And Raghav will not get any of it from her. On the face, he will be, "who cares, bro". And his conscience will give a tapli on his head, saying, "You care, bro".😆

In bold - Exactly my thought. She somehow comes across as a wife who adored her husband, even if he was her husband for one day 😭 It's actually sad. When RR comes to know about her adoration and respect, he will burn. Good for him.

Also about the allegations he dished out at her place....all that will come biting him coz none of that happened and now she will make sure it does not. He always gets women very easily, but this one, she will be a tough one to reach out to. That's called strength of character and for men, it's hard to break that wall unless he positively changes.

What we want Pallavi to do or what she should do as opposed to what she would actually do, maybe different. But I think what is good is that it started on the right note yesterday. Totally loved her hurling stones at his car..his "paisa sab kuch hai" attitude totally deserved it. I also liked how direct she was without being overdramatic. And his reaction was hilarious. "Public me tamasha kyu kar raha hai" Matlab tamasha karo, izzat uchalo par sirf band darwazo ke piche. I agree with viewpoint, only Pallavi can hold his collar like that in public and get away. But that's not only because he is into her in a twisted way but this time its also because deep down he knows he deserves it. He was so hell bent on putting someone's head on the chopping block when he felt that as a brother he failed to protect his sister, that he didnt care to dig deep into the matter.. even when in his heart said that Pallavi could never do such a thing, he turned a deaf ear to it and let his head take over.. processed and presented himself only those evidences that implicated the easy target. But that guilt is there.. it peaks through his conscience when Farhad looks at him with his judgy eyes, when a random old woman refuses to take his charity, when he gets to know that his actions in the name of justice had a greater ripple effect than he anticipated. It was visible in bits and pieces yesterday too when he got to know that Pallavi was thrown out of her house.. that guilt may take a backseat for sometime intially after the marriage because he will inevitably blame her for being forced to do something against his wishes besides the fact that every person close to him is openly supporting her. But that guilt will make a comeback when he slowly gets to know her..and that inner voice in him that he didnt listen to, will get louder and louder ..he will lose sleep then..

One more thing.. when Pallavi gets to know about the reason for Raghav's revenge i.e Keerthi's MMS scandal from Farhad (hopefully) or even Keerthi, then I dont want her to soften towards him.. Rather I want her to investigate the matter and throw the right evidences at his face.. phone numbers, IP address etc and tell him " Jasoosi karne ka shauk hai to jasoosi thik se karna seekh lo pehle.. "

Tell me about IP address 🤣I thought RR had his IT team investigating this....They went to sleep probably.

I agree, this time he knows he deserves it and for that he will let her do whatever she likes. RR is so complicated, he has this need to punish people, he is blinded by rage and yet he says he doesn't like innocent people to suffer. My brother, how do you expect to deliver a judgment with that uncontrollable rage? He really needs to sit down and recalibrate his existence. And listen to Farhad. That guy is so decent, collected and perceptive. Anna is the fire ball that shoots away whenever it pleases and Farhad is the fire extinguisher.

Complicated man. Imagine spending a lifetime figuring out such a guy.......Run. 😆
