Parts of this scene of KD are good but parts of it are too mild and left a lot to be desired.

I really hope that in ghum they clearly show Virats anger, contempt, disgust, him drawing the boundary and being very clear with pp that he is uncomfortable with her interference in his married life and in his personal space. I hope he doesn't get guilty again. We have seen enough of that so far. I want him to tell her to stop making him feel guilty about a situation- where 90% of the mess was solely created by only her.

The only stupid thing virat did was to make a vaada that made it seem like even if his love was unrequited, it would be eternal because now he realizes that what he thought was love was only an infatuation. But all the other situation is all pp's doing. Having a MU, doubting Virat because of a phone call where he didn't recognize her voice, getting ready to marry someone else, not bothering to disclose her past to her fiance, and marrying him even after learning he is her "lovers" brother just to be "close to him" - all these were pp's decisions. And Sai is besring the brunt of pp's insults for no reason. Sai only truly " entered" his life as "more than just another girl he knew" on the day of pp samrat marriage when he left the wedding to go save Sai personally and he only got married to Sai AFTER samrat-pp marriage. Even the reason for Samrat being MIA and this whole "being lonely without her husband" acting that she has going on to gain sympathy- is also only and only PPs doing. She was the one who was talking loudly over the phone confessing her love to virat on her wedding night thus breaking the heart and trust of an innocent, righteous man like Samrat who had placed her on a pedestal- who was not expecting this betrayal. Thats what forced him to go away. Even then, Virat didn't reciprocate even though he felt guilty about pp's situation of getting married to someone when she was still getting over her feelings for someone else but he did NOT tell her that he will continue to "love" her. So virat needs to tell her to stop guilt tripping him about being a normal human being- moving on and forgetting about a stupid infatuation, for loving his own wife and looking forward to a lifetime with her and for having an actual job/personal life that he is invested in. All of these things pp cant do coz she's an idiot who lacks any common sense, self respect but thats not Virats problem.

Honestly, if they don’t fix everything you’ve mentioned above, many of us will lose interest and leave obv b/c of a functional moral compass.
