And pallavi thats true but she never had a stable family..how is she to know what is permissible and what isnt?

When she sees another family function opposite to what she has seen till now. Rao's may not have a father figure, but they damn straight have good, strong and open-minded kids. And that contribution is from the matriarch Jaya Rao. She like Sharda is progressive, robust, and she knows how to straighten her kids alright. From what I can see in Rao's, the woman has more say than the man. Jaya is a simple homemaker as well, but she has a wider perspective. And just like Pallavi, Jaya does not believe her life is over because she is a widow. Jaya and Pallavi will bond over that, and Raghav and Keerti, having seen their mom, will not make an issue about it. And once she begins to stay and understand what a family Rao's are, will she want to go back to the Deshmukhs, never.

But if the truth of her being a widow and orphan reveal infront of him right now, he won't be affected, I don't think so. But if that comes out after the MU cleared and after he starts to trust her again then may be the truth will hit him hard. But at the same time I don't want him to be affected about she being a widow. I just want him to be jealous of the factor that there was someone else before him in her life. This will happen only if he gets to know the truth after he falls in love with her. I wanna see that.

And I completely agree with what you have said about Pallavi holding onto the last thread with DM family. They are the only choice she has as a family, and I'm sure that she was thrilled to get married to Mandar because she knew she was going to get a family she always wanted.

Whenever she tried to support that family I saw that desparation in her eyes. She is scared of them not wanting her one-day and for the same reason she tries too hard to be the son they lost.

In the last two episodes, she was so desperate for them to trust her, my heart broke for that girl.

And CVS won't screw that up, don't worry since they love drama. 😆

The orphan thing went above their head because there was already a drama unfolding. Just imagine he reacting to that at that moment. That would have been a blunder but I want him to think about that day and realize that truth. 😳

So the precap was taken from the promo of the wedding. The actual RaghVi wedding sequence is yet to be filmed and I have no clue how it will play out. I think maybe Amma and Keerthi may find out/know she is a widow, but they may not tell RR.

Like white saree can also mean she is being rebellious to the wedding. Like wearing white to a wedding is abshugun, so she is doing it on purpose as she is forced to marry.

I think she is wearing white to the marriage means , I have three options!

1. Raghav will get to know that she is a widow.

2. She will wear white after the marriage with Raghav and that's going to be a big blow to him.

3. Both

Frankly, I believe, after 60 episodes, its high time, that the widow truth is out in the open. Atleast kuch to open ho. Waise hi itni MU ka pile on hai, jo resolve hone me kaafi waqt hai.

And if anyone thinks that Raghav par koi impact nahi hoga, then a person who builds expectations in his mind about a woman, who is clueless to all the "accusations" he has built in his head, will definitely be impacted. Seeing her in a white saree, uske badle ki kahani hi palta ke rakh dega. Uske so-called "badle ki aag" me khud hi jalega, kyunki Pallavi par zara sa bhi uska asar hone se raha, farq padne se raha, jitna Raghav ko padega. Kuch dino baad dekhna, badle ki aag me safed saree ko hi jalayega, kyunki usko Pallavi ko apne rang me dekhna hai. Aur Pallavi ghaas dalne se rahi.😆

I want him to know about the orphan and widow truth and atleast be affected with how he took away her family from her. He may not care much about her being a widow till he falls for her and/or the MUs clear out, and the insecurity hits that there was another person before him who had a claim on her, but somewhere atleast that guilt will come in, knowing she was the DIL and not daughter of the house. He may not show it, but he will feel it, feel it bad. He will want to know more about her past, he might dig deep and he will be hit with the weight of what he has done so far.

Like mentioned by others, she has not seen other families functioning hence holds on to this one even though some of the members are truly toxic. I get where she comes from, I get she is desperate to have parents in her life after atleast 15+ years of living without any, but I truly just feel like she deserves better than people who could not trust her in that abortion drama till proof came up. That was a red flag for me atleast to know that they are not a conducive environment to give her wings, she is in a cage of expectations with no end. My heart broke to see the distrust then, I wanted to hurl something at VD today when he insulted her for her sacrifices 😵

I absolutely want him to feel how it is like to be in her shoes. The revelation about her being an orphan didnt have much of an impact maybe because just like most of the days, that day too Raghav was on his own trip. The way he is right now, completely self absorbed, he is incapable of looking past himself, his own world, his business, his problems and his family(amma and Keerthi). Pallavi kya hai, kesi hai, kyu hai, these thoughts have barely crossed his mind.. She was like a toy for him during the challenge period, is what I feel now..someone that amused him.. Otherwise, a business tycoon, Hyderabad's don and all, has he nothing better to do than go after this pint sized girl running a small shop in a small market? Barring a few random scenes, where he said he liked her fighting spirit, we never really understood if there is anything beyond his plain bully nature, that could be the reason for him going after her. Its all up for speculation that he is intruiged by her, maybe attracted but we dont know.. But now after marriage, when he really gets to know her, how she lost her husband, why her family is everything for her, why DSE holds so much importance in her life.. I hope he starts understanding her better. Maybe then he will realize that Pallavi can never do the things he has accused her of..

I saw another post on another thread regarding comparison of the two families and I feel neither family is typical. We have seen more of the DFamily however I think once we get to know backstory of the RFamily then it would be a fairer comparison as there is a chunk missing from the the past and then from sangeet to now where all of a sudden the mother is ok with Raghav. Yes I understand the whole prison episode would bring them together but the previous mother was so adamant with regards to not letting Raghav in, even Keerti was adamant. They are all fiery and headstrong in that family so be interesting to see how Pallavi takes to them once part of the family. For me I need more revelations about the Rao family as well as the widow aspect. No idea what Raghav will make of the latter, who knows what goes on in his head lol

@bold- If Jaya had known how to straighten her kids, then aaj ye Mahabharat na hoti Sohini. Good, strong, open minded kid.. yes, Keerthi is.. But the way Raghav has turned out, it puts a big question mark on his upbringing in my opinion.. Its impossible that all the issues he has, his temperament, anger management, ego, arrogance just came overnight in him after that fateful incident 10-15 years back.. the biggest issue here, and for which Jaya Rao will have to take responsibility too, is that she was unable to instill some basic manners and human emotions/sensibilities in Raghav.. the wisdom of telling right from wrong, insaan ko insaan samjhna.. galtiyaan accept karna, apologise karna, introspect karna, galtiyon se seekhna, apni galtiyon ki zimmedari khud uthana naki dusre pe thop dena... Ye sab Jaya Rao Raghav ko nahi sikha payi.. So no I dnt think she is anywhere near being a good matriarch... On the contrary, look at Nikhil ..how good he has turned out, sensible, compassionate and mature, despite of having a father like Vijay Deshmukh.. I cannot comment on Mandhar but by and large the kids in that family have turned out pretty decent except for Amruta ofcourse..

Jaya Im sure will turn out to be an excellent MIL for Pallavi..Pallavi is lucky in the MIL department.. Both Sharda and Jaya adore her..

Deshmukh family has some rotten apples- Vijay Deshmukh, Sulochana and Amruta... Rest of the family especially Sharda, Nikhil, Milind and Manasi are good human beings.. This list may get shorter after I watch todays epi if Milind and Manasi dont speak up..
