I know what u mean by underwhelming.
I felt the episode was about Sam getting his due finally as Captain America. Everything mainly revolved around him. And they are setting up The Thunderbolts too. I liked how Walker made a good choice when it came to picking. Still he isn't a stable man.
I really felt this episode let down Bucky. He has so much potential in terms of action but the only focus was Sam. Not a problem with that, but I felt Bucky's arc was incomplete. Esp when he confessed his last crime for closure I was expecting more than just a minute long scene. Although Seb nailed it with his expressions.
The Isiah bit was the best part of the episode. That scene made me emo as heck. So glad to see the moral behind that scene "accept the past, with the mistakes, but move on with that acknowledgement".
Sharon's giving me full Revenge vibes, that was a show Emily vanCamp did a couple of years ago, remember it ? She reminded me of her character in that 😉
Last mein when Bucky turned up with the cake and played with the kids was so wholesome I was like "HUSBAND!!!!" 😆
When I said frustration, I mean check Twitter. People are shipping Bucky-Sarah like crazy but I saw zero chemistry. 🤓 In fact Sharon and Sam had much more chemistry in their one scene. But everyone's like Sarah will be Bucky's girl in the next season he's gonna be the kids' step father and I was literally like dude where is the spark, I saw none!!! 🤣 There's no base only bloody 😆
