Actually since Sai came,she was her only support that Ashwini had against the kaku gang and injustice. She hoped sai will come back but I think deep inside she knows sai won't for her self respect.

Agreed to this point of view. Ashwini wants Sai not only for her godu but also for her strength and for this mad house as well.

Cuz she had made it clear that she is nit very pleased with her son's way of treating his wife.
