I don’t get this Virat being soft on PP until he is forced to choose.

No he asked her to leave the previous day too but as usual the shameless woman is there the next day too. But finally when put in a position to choose one of them to stay, he clearly picks Sai. In KD, they show virat maintain distance and reprimand pp but not too rudely, in a sternly polite way. I really want him to just be rude abd straightforward like Sai though. Kyunki izzat/maturely bolkar toh usko samajh mein nahin aata toh proper full blown beizzati hi deserve karti hai. Subtle beizzati toh shaayad samajh mein hi nahi aati hai.

I don’t want PP beizzati from anyone else, not even Sai, only from Virat. Because it is clear that no matter how much Sai Ashwini or Mohit taunt her, she still gets encouragement from Virat’s being soft on her. That is the secret of her gumption. He gave her the vaada that is keeping her at it, so only he can break the vaada & show PP her place. And he has to do it consistently without contradicting, in clear words & actions without jalebis. And the best beizzati from him would be to ignore her and treat her exactly how he treats Karishma.

Badi meharbani uski! I would be insulted if my husband was good enough to “choose” me over a woman friend. There can be no alternatives, no choice, no contest. The other woman cannot even be in the running.

In this case if there was no compulsion to choose only one to stay wld he have allowed both? The non-wife cannot stay regardless of whether the wife stays or not, regardless of whether only one is allowed or two.

Apologies for repeated posts from me on this point. No intention to challenge or argue, but this is a very subtle point that I think those married will get. As a spouse u expect to be the only one in a category by yourself. There cannot be any question of choosing u over someone else because u are a constant automatic selection with no competition.

This pp angle is unfortunately going to be a recurring theme and the bone of contention, reason for Sai's insecurity until Virat confesses his love to Sai and tells her that he has broken all vaadas. He is committed to ONLY Sai. Pp means NOTHING to him. Right now shes still his friend but eventually when virat is indifferent to her existence and only cares about Sai -and Sai can also see it, believe it- thats the day this issue will be resolved. usmein abhi bahut time hai. But this is a start. Finally virat will start showing his stance- by asking pp to leave and Sai to stay, and by politely but still showing Pp her place and asking her to leave. and gradually the hope is to see virat realize and demomstrate that there is no other woman who is his priority, his constant. And for Sai to feel that and believe it..and audience too!

Btw, this thread is the reason I love this forum & all of u... it is a great example of how we are able to debate others pov & explain our pov, with mutual respect & the understanding that all of us ultimately desire the same goal of a good show esposing the right values.

So i looked at KD timeline just now. After the confrontation where Sai refuses to go back with virat, if they follow exact copy paste its literally going to be like 11 episodes with no Sairat scenes until Sai finally goes to meet Virat at the hospital, except for one time where Sai tries to call Virat after panicking when she learns he is injured and begs to talk to him but virat is too hurt that Sai didnt forgive him and refuses to talk to her over the phone. And theres more virat-pp scenes in hospital too. If they follow KD, ninad-pp eont let Sai meet virat and pp will try to stay overnight in hospital but virat will ask pp to leave- but he may not really be rude yo her perse, so it'll still be annoying to watch. So basically if they do exact copy paste its almost 2 more weeks of no Sairat scenes :( i really really really hope that ghum does it differently. Either by fast forwarding that sequence a little- cutting it to 4-5 episodes only or atleast giving enough FB scenes of Sairat. And maybe they can shoot "new" FB scenes. Like instead of playing a montage of old clips they can give us unseen scenes of Sairat but as if they happened in past. It'll really be too much if after today's episode we get no Sairat for like 10-12 episodes! :( In KD we see Sai's worry, panic , anxiety to learn that Virat is on a mission which is great but i want to see both of them miss each other equally....and i really don't want such a long gap for a Sairat scene. I read that the actor playing barkha is in goa with cast and so are devi-pulkit. So hopefully they have tweaked the track atleast a little and cut down the prolonged separation of Sairat.
