But, he doesn't know the specificities of it all; also he needs to look at the bigger picture and see how all women have/are struggling due to patriarchal society INCLUDING his mother. He needs to understand that, yes, she definetely is his culprit (also shaan, moreso infact) but before that she was a victim of patriarchy.

If patriarchy wouldn't have existed she wouldn't have to make such a choice.

Once he realises and accepts that, he will come through since he really is a progressive at heart, and then I am sure he will be one of anokhi's biggest support.

Going ahead, i feel anokhi should tackle both, i think true love and ambitions can be both be kept a priority and balanced, girls shouldn't need to compromise on one of their desires.

But, yeah she definetely needs to sort everything out. Shaurya has hi slife sorted, while hers is only starting, so she has to tread a lot more carefully...

Oh man, I have always adored babli and today toh she was seriously on fire. The way she spilled facts in the whole episode was praiseworthy.

And shaurya with his comic relief. This guy is either shouting like a monster or behaving like a clown. There is no in between, what a guy😆

@bold part there - see in real life to be honest that's one of the toughest things is to balance... One of my friend had to leave her job in extremely prestigious company because her husband had to move to Europe. She has been searching for job there but language barrier and stuff comes in play since we belong to education domain (I feel IT and coding career faces lesser challenges in that matter). But she had to ultimately sacrifice her job to be with her husband.

On the other side.. Similar situation, another friend of mine left her husband in US, came back and continued her work life here. She is here her husband there... He had an affair... Both of them divorced. I felt terrible for my friend... But then I realized she wasn't too affected by divorce either. Good for her! But imagine the mess had children been involved there.

In reality when it comes to opportunities, women will always be expected to make sacrifices. But I do believe in some world two people can love each other, be loyal and stay committed even when they are physically away.

Coming to this show -

I do want to see Shaurya as a changed person, but it has to be slow. The way he treated Shagun till here.. Some change is fine.. But soch has to be there for now to see Takkar that the show promised.

Plus Shaurya has reasons to learn to fight the inner demons - he was clear in initial episodes that he wants all the attention of his wife and that she should not move away from him or his children... Like Astha did! If you all of the sudden are accepting it... The show plot has gone for the toss... And you should start calling Astha ma...

By end of the show... I want Anokhi's line from her 1st episode debate to be proven wrong "You will never hear anyone say behind any successful woman is man... But definitely vice versa... Because man has/can never be cause if woman's success"... I so want that line to be proven wrong with Shaurya by her side.

I agree! Anokhi has unique characteristic which makes her so likeable by even stark contrasting character like Shaurya... The very characteristic that Shaurya mentioned made him fall for her.. Should not be lost! Not for sake of Shaurya for sake of Story and audience like me who watch it to see her fighting the patriarchal society.

Also I do feel most of the time you and I are usually on the same page in terms of what we expect from the show.

I am sorry for both of your friends, I hope they are doing better. I can't imagine how hard it must be to give up your career or go through a divorce process. Kids do end up suffering but they suffer from both ends, if there is no love between parents, witnessing fights is harmful too, infact much more. Some situations in itself are heartbreaking that one can't do anything about it.

Transferable and foreign jobs are actually a problem. And somehow it is mostly the woman who leaves behind her career and have to move with their husband. But, practical solutions with BOTH making adjustments are possible to come up with. Women sacrificing should NOT be okay and is NOT a solution, I hope society realises this soon.

@bold: this is essentially what I meant ki yes girls are expected to sacrifice one thing or the other bcs husbands refuse to. They still treat their wife's career secondary to theirs. Jab tak yeh soch rahegi tab tak true equality can't be achieved. Men need to understand ki adjustments and sacrifices have to be done from both the sides. For how long are they going to continue the relationship only on women's sacrifice. Ha sbeen happening for eons now, not anymore.

So that sentence was more for the society to change and make an environment where girls shouldn't have to make such choices and are able to keep both at priority and men for once make equal adjustments rather than expecting only women to.

Regarding the show: You said it all, i agree and I am so looking forward to witness it. I hope makers don't disappoint us there since this is the central plotline.

Though I watched holi episode (but only shakhi scenes) a lot of times too but it was more because shakhi were having so much fun. But in terms of story, this is one of their best since a long time.

I've still not gotten over that episode, so ADDICTIVE The genuine smiles (Everyone is aware 😂), water splashing, dancing, coordination & running behind eo ☺️☺️ So wholesome!

Obviously shakhi scene was wonderful as always (i mean when is their chemistry not on fire?). Babli-Anokhi-Shaurya scene was just so nicely written and executed. Every single dialogue of babli was so on point according to the situation. And, I am loving slowly shaurya is getting acquainted with anokhi's past/life and her family background.

Definitely, I mean when do they not have chemistry in their scenes, be it love or anger? Babli's interfering made the scene funny 😄 Shaurya's change is worth looking at, I mean comparing the same dude who was someone else in the first episode & how far he has come...? 😎

I am still confused with shaurya's dialogues. Like aaj ki ladki hai, woh apni ladayi jeetegi and all. I mean any other show, the ml would have won me over, and shaurya did too; but I really want to know, is this love ka fever speaking or has his soch genuinely started changing ? I hope he knows which ladayi babli is talking about? Ladayi to stand on her own feet or does he not.

I had the same question. If the pyaar ka bukhar goes from his head, what's next? Will he remain the same like he told Babli? By Anokhi's side as a pillar? We're yet to witness! Shaurya has a rough idea about Anokhi running from her marriage, he should know the deets behind it, her family being regressive (Minus babli & Rama)

Kinda confused with what is his current mindset regarding anokhi's ambitions now that it is somewhere out in the open while he is thinking to spend the future with her (at the back of his mind)

Shaurya told Babli that Anokhi is hard working & inspiring. I think at least for now Anokhi was pleased with the praisings. In the future this issue will be raised. Then only things will take a turn, for good or bad, god knows 🤷🏻

Keeping aside the soch factor, I totally loved shaurya and his dialogues today. Specially because of the way he was praising her. You could have just said something like this yesterday night too shaurya, her insecurities would have disappeared then.

KV was bang on with the comic timing for Shaurya (Not the epic 'satirical' wise like our Adi does 😉🤣 but yeah, the scene looked funny with Shaurya making cute remarks 😆) This! Shaurya needs to apologise to Anokhi for his rash behaviour last night imo. She was already hurt & it was like adding salt to her wounds

But the way nikki was all smiles, it really conveyed how happy she was when he praised her. She just wanted to feel that she is special too and when he was saying such things about her, she felt secured. I loved, loved that scene. Sometimes, appreciation, specially from the people close to us is all that is needed.

Anokhi was already happy that she found him, Shaurya praising her was like the cherry on the cake 🤗 Babli better have faith in Shaurya & Anokhi. Appreciation do matter when the issue is big.

Ahir 's scene was fine today, I actually like the scene between anokhi and ahir (also if you liked goa so much ahir, how about trying for a transfer in goa, seems like nice idea)

The sanitiser applying part was a highlighted factor on twitter today 😆 Ahir has always been supportive but he does like Anokhi. Wonder when this will come out & how she would react. Oh yeah, itne velle hai kya? 😳 Also I'm waiting to see the showdown b/w Shaurya & Ahir 😆😆😆

On to babli-anokhi scene. This scene was so endearing and heartbreaking at the same time. I can totally sense babli's fear for anokhi.

Babli has not had an easy life at all, and she doesn't want anokhi to face anything remotely similar to hers going in the future. She knows how much anokhi has struggled and babli doesn't want all of it to go in vain.

Its just that Babli needs to understand you can never judge a person soon which also applies to Anokhi but Babli's pov is what she should reconsider. How she almost portrayed Shaurya as a villain or some sh** 🤪 No wonder it felt odd to Shaurya 😂 She's caring & protective of Anokhi, we know but give her some space too!

Anokhi did say to babli ki she is not giving him or anyone that much importance so that he can break her heart; but nikki you still have given him that importance unknowingly.

Exactly! He has unknowingly already broken her heart when she had the heartbreak last night. Its normal, when you're crushing hard or love a person so much, it all comes naturally to you. You cry, its fine but how you stand up amid crisis is what she needs to learn. Hope she does realize this since she's quite young

They first ruined ShaKhi's first Holi, now B'day? This is too much imo. Wait for a day or two? Abhi toh Shaurya aur Anokhi mile hai yaar 😆😆 They need to spend time together & you'll are at freaking Goa, utilise the location!!! 🤣

Shaurya's birthday was spoilt, let hers be; look at how happy she is.

I am really rooting for shaurya but I do have a feeling everything isn't going to be rosy. Hopefully, this time shaurya does something about it, since this time it isn't ahir or babli coming in between it is shagun and BM, and this is much more dangerous.

I'm rooting as well but we've to agree that life isn't gonna be easy for Anokhi. Shaurya jaisa bhi ho, that house is a literal mad house. The way they treat woman? 😳🤔 Ahir & Babli are just props in this situation & like you've written, BM is gonna be the ultimate bhoot 😂😂🤣🤣

All in all, one of my favourite episodes, I know its hard with covid situation and goa shooting, inspite of it, they really are trying hard to give us brilliant episodes. Hopefully this continues.

Surely, the feeling is satisfying. Anokhi & Shaurya made the needed progression 💃🏻🥳 They gotta spend time alone without interferences & give us more ShaKhi scenes 🤣❤️ Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

Well, I enjoyed reading your opinion. I do end up making a post for those episodes which I either totally love or epsides which I want to criticise. 😆

We both are on the same page for the most part.

Shaurya is definitely changing for good and the best part is that the growth is organic, it wasn't overnight.

Yeah, future mein let's see how he changes his soch and perception.

Yeah, his comic timing is damn amazing; i still remember some of those adi's dialogues, specially initial episodes were on another level.

Babli, I think is just being concerned as of now. She knows how his family and even him in the start created hurdles for her. She knows that shaurya has also helped her in ragging track and saved both from vineet. But she also knows about the library incident. She knows how much power shaurya holds over nikki since his words affects her a lot. So, she is just worried about the path nikki is taking and how she will be able to handle it. She is worried about nikki having a heartbreak (and since we viewers are aware of shagun, babli's fear makes even more sense). She knows that anokhi is very naive in matters of love. Isn't it better to be safe than sorry? this is exactly what babli is thinking as of now.

I think it is only natural for a sister like babli who has always been a mother figure to her and treated nikki as her own child, to be so protective of her. I am sure once she is sure of shurya, she will accept him.

And, see even we are concerned for with respect to sabherwaals, same concern babli showed the other day. In real life, I would have advised anokhi the same since that house is full of crazy manipulative people who are so regressive, like it hurts to see how kanchan and gayatri are treated.

Infact, I would advise shaurya to get away from that madhouse and then marry anokhi. But this is a show about bade log ki choti soch and how anokhi tackles it, so, well i am ready for Anokhi vs Sabherwaals.

Like story of most moms during that time😒... To be honest... Back in times of... Some women are kind of trained to not even look at other brighter independent side... They are always conditioned you will be married off and live in a happy household work... And given such conditioning they tend to only look forward to that... And finds happiness... Nothing wrong with that either... But they should explore the prospects...

Ikr, they are not just trained but pressure is so humongous and sometimes situations arise such that they can't do much except rebel. And being a rebel comes with its own risks. Even now, many girls do face this situation. But, I think that fighting attitude is there in many, the zeal to make something out of their life. Hopefully, more girls are able to break the cycle.

I mean tbvh, at one point she didn't even know if she would be able to complete her bachelor's or not.

I do have friends in real life who are not sure what they want to become, 1st year 2nd year...they are exploring more, specially art students, since they have tons of options open. I think anokhi is one of them; the kind of environment she was living in, she might just have had a goal that she wants to escape from here along with her mom and sis no matter what career or job. I think they'll show in the future. She does have this idea though, that she wants to become just like astha ma'am, so maybe professor🤔, though I would be happier if they have thought something different
