Looks like not many fans of SMP here. I was listening to her jukebox performances on YouTube.

I like her Sare ke Sare and yeh kaali kaali aankhen performances the most.

Though many are predicting SMP to be not in top 5, but I feel, her elimination, will simply remove the variation as well as the X factor in the finale. All you would have is a complete set of soft singers competing in a single genre

Yeah. I know. There used to be lot of haters. There were literally threads to bash her. Now its reduced quite a bit. What ever others think that won't take away her talent even now she is the only one along with Pawandeep who was never in bottom 5. Now she may or may not go forward but the contest itself is not fair any more. Even if she loses I won't feel bad as she never lost in fair contest.

Looks like channel want that. They started sidelining SMP all of a sudden which is still surprising for me. How can they sideline a singer who was never in bottom5 and almost got MBD everytime. Not sure. But I made my mind channel wanted to promote only soft voices.

Maybe we can start with discussing which performances of her we liked.

Sure. I liked Dhan te nan, humma humma, kali kali ankhe, jai ho, girls like to swing, roop tera most. I like others as well but her energy levels in these songs is really unmatched.

If SMP doesn't reach finale or top 5 also...sure shot there will be a solo stage performance for her...and That will be the best of finale..

Yeah. Hope so. But I still don't understand in what sense she became less popular than some of the other contestants they are promoting. She has more insta followers as well as good amount of views on most of her videos on you tube/Facebook. Iam really surprised. I don't think she will be a less voted contestant as well because if that is so they would not had promoted her all these days. Why all of a sudden? Any guesses?

I like her energetic songs humma, dhan te na, jai ho, kaali kaali aankhen.

But most I like when she sings melodious songs with some extra - saare ke saare, roop tera. The operatic start she did in saare ke saare gave me goosebumps.

You are right Saare ke Saare improvisations were really good. Its difficult to imagine that can be done in that song.
