So Sid is still here!!! Raanav should stop feeling so insecure whenever Sid and Viv start talking.

So Naina and Inder have broken up for real!!

As much as Viveka can feel sorry for her sister, the whole situation was very messy right from the start. Not sure if the entire blame falls on the Dhamijas and Parashers.

Maybe they did contribute, the main problem was always Inder and Naina.

Naina jumped into something she had no idea about and Inder could not take a stand for her and his relationship with her.

Always blaming Raanav or Smrita is not going to take Viveka anywhere for her or for her sister.

In some matters Viv is so mature in her thoughts and in some, she is really childish.

For Raanav I guess, the struggles are more internal. All through his life he has seen the world in one particular way, just like his mother showed him and now to unlearn some of that and look from a different perspective is not an easy task.

Even after Viveka shared so much with her sister about her marriage and all, yet Naina did not tell Viv that she broke up with Inder.

I guess Naina can only be satisfied if Viv too broke up her marriage.

Be it Sid, Rakshit or Raanav, I wonder what kind of relationships they have or had.

Sid says that no girl he has dated, has ever disagreed with him, Rakshit does not disagree with Lekha on anything and just goes along with what she wants.

Strange to be in relationships where either you agree totally or get agreed totally.

As a reader, now I can get why Raanav wants this relationship with Viv to work, he wants this equal participation, he wants her to question him and him to question her - actions and decisions.

Can't Raanav raise this with Smrita and make her understand his POV.

Human beings are not perfect. I see Viveka like a pressure cooker letting off steam😆 all the snide, disparaging remarks from Smrita is bound to affect. A dog and car got more compassion, as well as drama queen Lekha. Then her parents are invited over to what they consider her home, to be told off by Inder’s mother, as if Naina had stolen his pencil in school. There is only so much you can brush off and only one person in that house to whom she can say anything if at all.

Raanav is really stuck, he knows his mother and aunt were wrong in how they acted, but duty and loyalty demands that he act oblivious I guess. But it won’t work, if he wants the marriage to work. And Viveka needs to stop fighting Naina’s battles and let her take responsibility for her life and decisions. If Raanav finds it difficult to put his foot down, then it will be a far cry to expect Inder to stand up for a relationship with Naina.

Viveka is good at heart, conscientious person. Everything she blurted out to Raanav is true also but somehow I am not sympathetic to her or to Anu and Akash.

Nupur was wrong to tell Anu about Naina and Inder and Anu handled it well plus Akash reported all to Satyen. Smrita apologized too.

Why was it required to tell/gossip to Viveka about it ? Do the Mathurs think that their Naina is a child and got influenced by Inder to go to Jaipur and Dubai.

What were they hoping that Viveka will talk to Raanav and then.what ? The two have been married for few months...what good can come out of it. They are not airheads like Smrita but this is immature and foolhardy.

Coming to Vi and Sid.

"Everyone I date agrees with me” Sid looked at her longingly"

Either Vi likes the attention or is just foolish. I had expected her to jokingly put Sid in his place not require Ra to step in. Anyway once again is Naina a doll/child that she is determining whether Sid should date her or not.

Now regarding her talk with Ra about Naina and her saying this.

"My sister was… IS AN adult, par kisi ne dee nahi usko freedom, neither Inder’s parents, nor your Mom. There has been so much harsh scrutiny of her every move”

once again she forgot that her own parents disapproved of Naina behavior plus again if Naina is an adult does she wants others to fight her battle. Why Naina actions have no bearing ? So a guy broke up with her who she wanted to be with..why lash out to others who disapproved it

True P, there is only so much anyone can take. Not sure if even Satyen thought through the kind of situations his wife will create for Viveka. Maybe the blind love for his wife made him overlook the greedy, sinister side of his wife.

Frankly, I don't think Smrita can change much. In real life too, how many people who are in positions like Smrita change right.

I guess Raanav needs to find a midway, to keep his wife away from his mother's evil games and keep his mother happy too. Don't think Satyen can do much, it is Raanav who needs to work towards maintaining peace in his married life.

True, if Raanav cannot put his foot down, expecting this from Inder is a joke.

Actually how stupid is Naina to have just built some illusionary dream world where she and Inder will fall for each other, families will happily agree and they will live HEA in some mansion.

Naina's stupidity is costing so many people so much stress, humiliation, hurt, pain, anger, frustration....

I so agree with you Shradha.

Somehow all of Naina's actions, reactions and consequences, and whatever has come out of it, all others get the blame except Naina herself.

I just don't get why Viveka gives a clean clean clean chit to Naina always.

It is a classic case of not being able to see your own faults. Not once she has made Naina accountable. Relatives, folks talk/gossip when given a chance ..how do the Mathurs think.that will not be the case.

All of us are blind when it comes to loved ones, ready to make excuses. Prime example, Viveka and Raanav.

Agree with Shradha, Mathurs should’ve ended the matter and not told Viveka. What purpose did it serve?
On one hand they say Naina is an adult and on the other they act as if she’s a child that needs protection. I don’t think that is going to help matters, especially if they want Naina to act maturely, be responsible. Tough love and not mollycoddling is the need of the hour😆

Seriously I don’t think she has a clue what she wants, going by her choice of Inder. Somebody who seems as unsettled as they come.

The dynamics between them all are just so interesting..

So, Inder and Naina were spotted laughing together on Lohri morning and they've 'MUTUALLY AGREED' to breakup by nightfall? Nice..

Raanav should have taken responsibility to inform Vi about the break-up if he thinks its okay to go enquiring to her if she knew about Inder bunking lunch with family for meeting Naina!!

In the same breath, Viveka should not hold Raanav accountable to inform her about the break-up if she thinks her parents or herself should not be held responsible for her sister's actions like the lunch episode or on Lohri day..

It's a two way street..

Viveka and the Mathurs are not accountable for Inder's actions. It is plain wrong to hate them for what he chooses to do.. not that it is in any way okay to hate Naina for what her bank balance and social status is!!

Just like that, it is wrong to accuse Parashars for the same couple's stupidity! If Naina wants to be with someone like Inder, go about it the way she does.. I guess she's asking for the drama that comes with it. Because as I see it, Inder, even if he marries Naina someday, will forever be a flight risk!!

No one's above reproach here.. but I have to accept, I'd anyday be more inclined towards the Mathurs than the Parashars!

Sid and Viveka..

Was he really hitting on her? Couldn't he be appreciative of her? A guy has to go looking for some good conversation with Smrita, Nupur and Lekha as the options available!! 😆

Or he could be just being kind to her. He sees the attitude of others in the family and wants to be nice to her?

I'm not so sure.. because I think I remember reading that he's like Smrita in nature. I'll have to go look back and confirm.

Because then, he couldn't really be nice or appreciative, he'd just have to be hitting on her 🤣

Vaise, I thought a lot over something when Vi and Sid first became friends.. it was quite dramatic and filmy but funny!

I imagined what if Sid actually takes a liking to Naina.. not necessarily a romantic interest, but just strikes a good friendship with her!! It'd be such a whack on the face for Nupur, Smrita, Inder... even Raanav, maybe! Or maybe he'd be plain relieved to have his attention shift from his wife?😳 Would've been damn funny to see them worry insanely😆
