Hate to love stories are fine. But according to ITV, it means a jerk ML manhandling FL,torturing her..Hatred can mean clashes between ideologies,having different opinions..But in ITV hatred is taken to a very extreme way. That is the problem. And in real world that wouldn't end up as a love story.

Love-hate relationship and nok-jhok meaning changed from 10-12 years when earlier it had harmless meaning. Examples of such couple were Keshu-Koki of Shrimaan Shrimati. Also Tu Tu Main Main saas-bahu had love-hate relationship. Same for Maya-Monisha. And presently it's Jijaji-CP though it's showing nonsense trapping in love track but I guess it's story requirement to connect with bhootni story. What they are showing from 10-12 years can't be love-hate because it only has hate and no love.
