It’s been dead for a while now. They’re just dragging the corpse.

Maybe in this lockdown people realised that they want to watch good content which is entertaining as well. I hope all these mindless masala movies flop hard so that the trend of such movies can finally come to an end.

It's hard to predict death during covid when everything has slowed down. There has been no big releases. I am not worried. I was more worried when everyone was chasing the stupid 100 crore club and then 200 crore club. It gave validation to directors like Sajid Khan and Rohit Shetty. It made Arbaaz Khan seem important. It made Dabbang, golmaal and Housefull franchises.

If death of Bollywood means I get less of those movies and more quality web series and small movies on web then I am all here for it.

I also can't remember the last time I cared about stars. Maybe pre-manslaughter era Salman Khan. So that type of obsession or devotion for celebs can die too. I will be happy. I am all here for rooting for unknown faces when they do good work. I don't care for the superficial glitz and glam. I don't know which yester year stars we keep feeling nostalgic about. They were almost all bad when they started out and got better over time. Compared to their beginning years the new generation takes their craft a lot more seriously. Maybe not Karthik and Sara... but even they are not the worst ones I have seen

Why are some folks itna utawala about the death of bollywood? Nahi dekhni hai toh please don’t. Last I checked, no one is putting a gun to anyone’s head to make them watch the BW movies. 😂
