This is not Pro/Anti Virat or Pro/Anti Sai post. This is just a small observation. I didn't watch the episode last night. I have yet to watch tonight's episode. Whatever I know is from the forum posts only.đ
I have wondered often about their feelings for each other. While Virat being less expressive about his emotions, has time and time again hinted at their blossoming relationship and tried to probe into her feelings for him.
As expressive and blunt and straightforward Sai has been, she tries to hide her growing feelings for Virat not only from him but also from herself hiding the feelings behind deal, vada and what not.
I once thought maybe Sai's feelings for Virat haven't been that strong. Because she's been more expressive in her love for Ashwini, Devyani and Shivani. While her feelings for Virat have always taken a back seat.
I also once thought that Virat's feelings for Sai might have been just infatuation thinking how his all anger is reserved only for Sai. While others always go Scot free.
I had made a post sometime ago about best friends. Even when they are angry with each other. Even when they have fought. Even when they refuse to listen to the other person's point of view, their thoughts are consumed by the other.
It's like a game where there are only two players playing a game. You can either choose to support or cheer against a player. They might like the cheering or dislike the non-support. But the truth is both matter less than the other player they are playing with. The two players react differently to the others. One of the players love the cheers and dislike the non supporters. Both the cheers and non supporters don't matter to the other player. But once the game is over, everything goes back to how it was before the game.
Same is the case with Sai and Virat. I'm reminded of the two tracks in the show.
Candyfloss episode: Before Virat came in with candyfloss, balloons etc. nobody mattered to Sai. Everyone else (along with their feelings for her) ceased to matter. Only after her problem with Virat was solved, did she realise that she had hurt anybody and she apologized for her behaviour.
Lunch with professor episode: Virat was super angry with her and became super receptive of others' judgements and opinions. And ended up hurting her. Anyone who supported her is wrong. Anyone who was against her is right.
I'm not saying one is right and one is wrong. This is just how their characters are.
When Sai is angry with Virat, everyone ceases to exist for her even when they are her well-wishers.
She apologises to them after the matter with Virat is resolved.
When Virat is angry with Sai, he becomes extra conscious of others' opinions. At that time he just wants everyone to support him against Sai.
He is back to not caring for their opinions once the matter with Sai is resolved.
It makes me think that for Virat, Sai matters more than everyone else. And he makes sure to let anyone and everyone know that he is hurt and Sai has hurt him and he goes on to hurt her to let her know how much she has hurt him.
It also makes me think that for Sai, Virat matters more than everyone else. And she hides into her shell refusing to let anyone in (even when they are her well wishers)
This is just how their individual characters are and this is how they show their anger on each other.
It also reminds me of her wall that was built because of Virat. Others like Ashwini, Devyani, Shivani etc. Easily accessed her as if the wall doesn't exist. But for Virat, the wall is always up. Virat sees that wall again and again but he doesn't see the door that she has made only for him. While her wall is up, no one else is allowed in. Only Virat had the key to that door.
1.She refused to apologise to Patralekha. Did it for Virat.
2. She refused to apply alta on others' insistence. Did it for Virat.
3. She refused to go to Ladakh. Did it when Virat asked her.
Virat has the key to her door.
They matter to each other more than anybody else. It's just that their way of showing anger on each other is different than each other.
P.S. I'm not justifying their actions. I'm just trying to understand their character traits.
, the secret is the problem and that is the solution as well.
