I know, I might get chappals by asking this..But the ever smiling Amruta, happy go lucky around Raghav and dreamland, caught red handed, embarrassed, felt bad for her. Yes it happened and they dealt with it..But no, because of Sulochana, she got into deeper mess and then got hit by shuttle racquet, she was hiding behind Pallu like a small child..Till date atleast she hasnt played any mean games with Pallavi or Raghav..so I kind of empathized with her today..

Yh i felt for her a little.

Shes immature and gullible. Definitely self centered.

She got sucked into her mothers scheme, and frankly whatever she did i can understand wanting ro hide an abortion if a family is that regressive as deshmukhs. But having sex and abortion is not some maha sin or anything. She didnt do anything wrong in that sense. Her mom just took advantage of everything and is uber manipulative.

Also being beaten ike that is so disgusting.

Im glad Milind kaku is standing upto her..

ikr.As a mother it's her duty to guide her daughters on the right path and here she's giving amru all wrong guidance.idk why is she even wants raghav for amru knowing about his reputation and all.She claims to love her daughters and yet don't hesitate to use mansi's wedding to defame pallu and use amru 's reports . I wonder how come mansi turned out the way she did.

although I feel amru will join kaki again when raghvi happens

I don't think BWA ever wanted Amruta to marry Raghav. She was just stringing her along and after all the insults she has thrown at Raghav, she can't seriously expect the he'd ever be her damaad!!

She doesn't exist for you, Sister?!

Gosh. This surprises me.

In my view, she is an essential character. She was Sulochana's confidant---in their scenes we discovered how evil Sulo was and what plans she was working. Without Amruta, we would have had 50 episodes of Sulo monologues. hehe

And---after this recent track---Amruta became even more important. She said something very important to her mother which affected me. She pointed out that she went to her mother as a daughter in crisis, and her mother used that crisis for her own ends. Amruta symbolizes the depths to which Sulo will go to hurt Pallavi. Or gain the title to the house or whatever her motive is.

It's on the level of Greek tragedy, if you will----the favourite child is sacrificed by the mother. And when Sulo was beating Amruta, I felt it was her anger at herself that was turned towards the child.
