What's your understanding of the ending in Death in the Gunj? As far as I understand, Shutu kills himself but then you see him in the car along with Nandu and Brian. Is it his ghost?

I LOVED it. It was absolutely amazing. An artsy, edgy movie with a stellar cast.â¤ď¸

Might be his ghost because if I remember well, it's his body they threw in the car trunk.

They hint at it; it's not overtly shown whose body.
For me the fact that the movie opened with them putting a corpse in the trunk and ended with the male lead shooting himself heavily suggest it's his body that's in the trunk.
Also, they were really detached in the beginning of the movie when they were talking logistics about the corpse.
The fact he is a presence in the car (a ghost) after his demise confirms it's indeed his body they put in the trunk.
Poor guy was invisible while alive and dealt as indifferently as an animal after his death.
I think its the memory. The last remnants of Shutu before his final rites. he has been invisible when he was alive, he will be invisible in his death.
Its a beautiful watchâď¸
