As much as I wanted to like your write up, I couldn't digest the fact that they made up in it. My mind just refused to believe so many things about it. Vansh would have NEVER used Aahana to disrespect Riddhima like that, but the CVs made him do it. After that entire debacle, he would have NEVER used another woman to make Riddhima go through all that humiliation and yet, the CVs made him do that again. I have to disagree that Riddhima was ever helpless in her choices. Whether it was going to spy on Kabir's behalf, bringing Vihaan home, or going to Vyom - she made all her decisions willingly. She could have chosen her self-respect over Kabir's ridiculous demand, told people in the house about what Kabir and Anupriya had done, or at least talked to Vansh about leaving the Mafia business first. But no, she chose to do otherwise every time and just created more problems for herself.
I agree with you on the bit about Vansh though. His stupid drama with Aahana had pissed me off severely the first time around and made me hate him and this whole show. I just don't understand why they keep doing this fcking shit. It's like they didn't learn their lesson the first time around. What pisses me off even more is that they keep using Vansh to do all this crap because I know for a fact that according to his initial sketch, he would have NEVER done this! It was humiliating for me to watch as a woman the first time around and it's humiliating again. THIS IS WHY WE FCKING NEEDED A SEPARATION TRACK.
It honestly pains me so much to write on them. It's like I can't even recognize who these characters are anymore and because of that I seriously doubt myself so much as a writer. The severe disconnect makes me question if I even understood them correctly in the first place or if I just made everything up.
I just don't know what to do with them anymore and I fcking hate this bullshit.

I made them make up in my write up because that was the only thing I can do to soothe my frustrated heart and mind. Like f*ck it I'm a sucker for HEA. But in reality, the first time around with Ahana, I would've f*cking booked it the hell out of there. Hell even from the start if someone I loved asked me to go spy on a criminal, I would've rather break up with him than go. F*ck that. Yes ! The initial Vansh that we know and love, the one which every family member even Dadi was scared of, would have never EVER have used another player in this game. Be it a woman or a man. He may trap someone, but for that him ALONE would've been enough. It's just I don't know man, after shifting to OTT, new slate ka excitement ki chakkar mein, saari writers pagal hogaya hain. Like f*cking everyone turned full 180 with their behaviours. Be it Riddhima ya Daadi, even copamma ! And the worst of it, they made a joke out of Vansh's strong character that we fell in love with in the first place ! I don't mind showing a male characters struggles and showing them in tune with their feelings, but f*ck, here Vansh has become a downright weakling. A f*cking joke. He keeps saying that he has everything under control, when in reality everything is not working out for him. Writers really need to start watching the initial episodes to get back in touch in what Vansh's character was about. Varna what is the use of building him up in the beginning if they only want to destroy him now 🙄🙄
Aur rahi bhaat Riddhima ki, the only thing I can say is, I hope when the revelation comes, the secret is worth the f*ck tonne of hell she put Vansh through. The makers has been dragging and building this secret into some big mega hit but if it falls flat than there's no more saving this show I tell you !
Yes, Riddhima took all those decisions willingly. What I meant in being helpless is more like her being foolishly led by her feelings. She believed what she did was right, that too without really questioning the bigger picture. With Kabir, she trusted him blindly, and because he was a cop, she thought he was upholding the right side. Aligning it with her beliefs, she went with the intention to do everything she can for her loved one. As for Vihaan, even if she would've told the family, nobody would've believed her over Anupriya. Yes they didn't like Kabir, but Anupriya was still a mother figure and a voice to be heard in that house. So in desperation, she took Vihaan's help. Again foolishly, without seeing the bigger picture. She could've at least told Angre about it. But alas, the makers never want Riddhima to do anything right. As for Vyom, this time she knew he was bad news. But because of the secret she made a deal with him. I just hope that it's worth it. I'mma be f*cking pissed off if the secret also turns out as nonsensical as her rapid behaviour change.
Did you know I went off grid from the forum because I couldn't f*cking move on from that Press Conference scene and that 1 minute redemption track ? I skipped almost maybe 1 months worth of episode and just get snips of it from insta. I couldn't stomach all the lovey dovey scene of how easily they glossed over that blunder they made Vansh do. Not even explaining whether the media was true or fake. Or whether what he burned was really their memories. They just went straaaaight to moving on and sweeping it under the rug. I was so f*cking pissed off that it took another persons words, not even CCTV footage to prove her innocent. F*cking useless. I guess that's why now Vansh keeps using another woman to hurt Riddhima, he never learns as he was easily forgiven 🙄
NO PLEASE ! Never question yourself as a writer. The problem is not you, even all of us who are not writing and are just watching this show has felt a disconnect. Like how can we not ? We spent 216 FREAKING EPISODES with a set point of view of what each character is like and suddenly we are expected to just ACCEPT these overnight changes ? They should've made the transition gradually, like slowly building up a characters grey area. But here suddenly Riddhima is at the house, has even changed her clothes and not in a panic that Vansh, who is the love of her life that has been SHOT is MISSING ? This is not the same woman, who with her feet injured was willing to brave a freaking storm to go look for her husband who is GOD KNOWS WHERE only based on her GUT FEELINGS that he is in danger ? That's a BIG FAT NOPE.
Please don't stop writing about them, but also at the same time don't force yourself on it ! Arts and creativity are NEVER meant to be forced. If forced, it will only leave you as a writer to be dissatisfied with your work. And that itself will show in your writing. Just keep doing what your doing Gur ! And never lose faith in your writing ! You are a WONDERFUL, AMAZING WRITER, with very in depth understanding of what you want to convey to your readers !
