Last year during the lockdown so many people committed suicide because of hunger...

I understand health is important but for the person who has no savings and depends on his day to day work to eat he doesn’t care about his health he cares about feeding his family and himself

they need to ramp up curbs and educated people need to step up and take action

Everything have two sides. Studies shows the covid death rate is high among the poor people as they don't have money for proper treatments. I'm from kerala. And during last lock down government gave free food kit with all necessary food items to everyone through ration shops. So that none will stay hungry and also gave pension. They are giving the same to bpl people even now. Plus community kitchen were there to give food to homeless peoples. I don't know whether they did same in maharashtra also.. but a similar 2 week lock down with proper supply of food kit and community kitchen will help to crush the wave without taking too much lives.
