I tried not to taint my main post with mentions of Didi but word to everything you said in bold. The writers have lost the plot on her totally since the post PD track....she's been looking through Imlie since Imlie came back to the house and today the writers went into 4th gear trying to show that Malini was the only one caring about Imlie's studies and exams all this while....LOL

I suppose they wanted to do all this to add more weight to Imlie's usual guilt of Malini didi ke "ehsaan" on her.....cuz otherwise last few days se Malini had done nothing that Imlie should take on the bojh of.....lol aaj suddenly hyperdrive mein kar diya sab kuch and it looked uber fake cuz it lacked continuity from the Malini we've seen the last two weeks.

So yes, it was disappointing cuz I'd also hoped if not Adi, then anyone else could have broken the news of Imlie's results....but they suddenly made it all about Malini and that tainted most of the scene for me. I actually have to go back and rewatch to catch the Adi-Imlie nuances cuz Malini's presence otherwise made me check out from the whole scene.....lol

Re: Adi-Imlie....yes, I love these little natural touches they add too like the way he picked up the plate and put it to the side while talking to her.

You 2 have summed it up and i felt Great reading the 2 other people having Almost carbon copy thoughts as me

Oh I forgot, a new morning dawned and all the "suspicions" of the previous night/2 weeks automatically got wiped away from Didi's naazuk mind😆

Anyways yeah, all if this is just being set up for Imlie's usual bhaashans to Adi to go to Malini....lol anyways woh bhaashan bhi kehne ko hi hote hain...stalemate ke baad bhi they still keep having scenes like kadhi chaawal and shehed😆....toh lage rahein writers with token behen prem for contrivance....lol

Any guesses yeh khayal BBSB ke man mein kyun aaya? Or is this another attempt at Imlie super high defense of not answering his question or not allowing him to tell? 😛 Or IPL ke wajah se hain?

Only thing cracking me up was the giant sindoor bottle😆 but I guess that can't be helped now 😆sach main ek chutki sindoor haath main le leta then that giant ass Qm which makes it unintentioanlly funny.. But otherwise WORD it was a very well shot Sequence and i loved her closeups too beautiful expressions by ST and even though they did do a SLO MO with the chants thankfully it wasn't unbearably long and stretched or OTT..Nicely handled the Mood

In all the build-up for didi, the makers conveniently forgot BKs contribution to Imlie’s studies after landing in Delhi. He was the first person to even bring it up initially. Poor guy cried khushi ke aansoo and credit leh gayi Malini for what I have no clue

that's what they are attemption Sure but the main question is Can we take it seriously and how can we believe that.. I know NOT ME *shrugs* No matter ab toh jaan bhi de de but dil se uttar gayi hai

So Adi was moved to put sindoor on Imli's forehead to compensate for all that she cannot claim as hers...to redress at least one area that he could make right. It seemed like the encounter with Dev and Malini made him want to do this for his Jhalli. The fact that he thinks beyond the aspect of the day - her results - and looks to have her back in every area - waah- what a lovely gesture. I love the way this guy thinks and the way he loves. May we get more of such scenes and may he always stay this way :)

THIS! I was just about to post that, I was ofcourse hoping Adi himself gives her the news...but my next hope was badke kaka! But no Malini telling her was so random!
