If acp pite ga toh arrested hone ka chance hai...then I was confused that if vineet gets beaten them why shaurya will be jailed as its vineet should be the one who would get arrested for getting violence on bably or anokhi.

Your friend's MIL sounds very much like Devi. Because it's clear that for Devi, she needs to be the center of Shaurya's world. The second that his attention goes to anyone else, she doesn't like it. Forget about Anokhi, she didn't even like it when Shaurya was attending to Shaan when he was broken up over Aastha's disappearance. Shaurya and her have had a very toxic relationship of attachment where they feed each other's need to be a priority. I think Devi didn't get that importance from Tej in the house so for her, so she got that importance from Shaurya. And she is totally unwilling to share him with anyone, even his own parents.

My feel is that Devi couldn’t have kids....so to not be the one that produces the Sabherwal waaris messed with her....and to keep control of the family and be the badi bahu, she stole Shaurya from his parents!

Oh yes I remembered that.... She didn't even inform Shaan about the rishta. So Gayatri had to tip him off. Then she told Shaan - Mai Shaurya ke liye kuch karoon toh tumhe problem hai kya??? Typical gaslighting move.

Love Gayatri to bits. She can't do a lot but in her own silent and small ways, she fights back.

If Shaurya is going to land in jail it better be worth it! I want to see a protective Anokhi! ❤️

You can get arrested if you get too violent... Especially if the cops present at the scene interpret the scene as a drunken brawl

Exactly! Devi keeps repeating that he is her son because she knows that deep down, he still has a strong attachment to his father and though he "hates" Aastha, he is far more emotional when it comes to her. I mean Aastha's words apply very perfectly to Shaurya, shikayat mein bhi pyar hota hai. Shaurya has never once gotten upset at Devi because her love is suffocating and conditional. The way he treats Shagun is the way he treats Devi. The way he treats Anokhi is the way he treats ShaStha. There is apnapan in the latter that is absent in the former.

Ps -- that reminds me, does anyone know if there has been any update on how Khalid is doing now??

This is the only plausible explanation! Because irrespective of her obsessive love for Shaurya or not it does not seem like she would willingly choose not to have kids of her own!

I don't it is something I would be able to believe as a viewer even if the writers choose to taje that route

Another possibility is that Shaurya doesn't do anything at the holi party but that they bring Vineet, him, and Anokhi in for a statement etc and then Shaurya ends up going crazy at the police station that requires them to put him behind bars just so he can calm down/be separated from Vineet.
