Mistakes are not a problem but never learning from them is. Leaves no room for growth or character arcs.

Kartik’s character I started disliking since a long time esp when he kidnapped an infant and later on supported his molester cousins 😵

Naira was fiery in the start but later on she became a major disappointment- very needy, clingy, no self respect, and sometimes just plain stupid.

Abe yaar if you're adamant on obsessing over Naira & not understanding my point, then nothing can be done about it.

Luv Kush were also minors (not defending the sexual assault, but stating facts). Vansh was literally almost dying. Naira herself refused to believe that it was an accident & kept saying that Kairav pushed him intentionally. Gayu was going by what Naira said. And yes, police is called on kids that young. It's nothing new. Literally a separate juvenile justice court exists for them. Plus, Gayu only threatened with the police. Her question as a mother was very valid: 'If you are so mahaan that you hand over other kids of the family to the police, why not your own? You yourself saw Kairav intentionally push Vansh to his almost-death'

And every character is messed up. I'm not even defending any of them. I'm just saying that other character's mistakes are addressed in the story, but that hardly ever happens with Naira's. Name one story were Kartik was the bechara mahaan insaan, Naira was in the obvious wrong, & it ended with only Naira apologising to Kartik? You can't. Because even her grave mistakes, Naira was made bechari & mahaan.

Never liked that bhagaudi naira and criminal kartik character.

It's very true they always snatches limelight on the occasion of other couples. They never practice what they preach to others.

Many times their actions have spoilt other people's life. Criminal kartik stole her sister's child and ruin her sister and brother in law's life. Goenkas are very regressive people and Bhagaudi naira bar bar bhag jati thi bina maa baap and family ka soche, She allowed everyone to think she is dead and keep the child away from everyone. It was heights to see kartik got married with vedika only because of naira, that woman preferred to hide that kartik's first wife is alive and also having son, in a way vedika and kartik both were in darkness about kairav's existence.

Agar kartik ko naira zinda hai or unka ek baccha bhi hai yeh pata chal jata to kya woh karta vedika se shaddi? Bhagaudi naira had ruined vedika's life too in this mess. Itna bhi nai socha, aj nahi to kal kartik ko uske bete ke bare mai pata chal he jayega tab kya hoga vedika se kiye dusre shaddi ka?!of course it was naira's responsibility to stop the wedding because she was one who was hiding herself and THEIR son from kartik.

Naira kartik characters are completely butchered and in place of trying to milk on their chemistry, they should killed the both and shut the show.Sirat character will not gonna help to get TRP. SIral character has no depth, no head no tail.

The character of Naira is despicable no doubt, but I want to talk about the writers of such tracks. In Indian movies or television, whenever there is a track about a man's possible infidelity, it is usually there for comedy or humor. But whenever there is one about a woman's possible infidelity, it is such a serious and drama-inducing track. Of course, there are exceptions, but this is the general trend. Hypocrisy is everywhere.

You know Vedika got a lot of hate online and here too but when we think of it, she was blameless (until later when they butchered her and made her a vamp).

Lot of fans described Vedika as needy, clingy and what not. But if you think from her pov, she sees a man who is loyal, devoted and a gentleman. He lost his wife 5 years ago and widow/widowers do move on and find love again - nothing unimaginable in that, so why was it wrong for Vedika to expect the same?

she didnt blackmail him to get married to her, that was his own decision. If anything, she tried to be the bigger person when Miss Dramebaaz came back. She stepped aside and let this couple do all their couple-y things coz their ill-mannered child Kairav demanded. She was alone and she got a family- i dont see anything wrong in it. Kaira even went behind her back, while Kartik was legally married to her and romanced too. (I might be fuzzy about details here).

the same fans are now loving Sirat- why? If Vedika was a despo then Sirat is much worse coz she is marrying a widower whose wife has died just 3-4months ago. Why 2 different yardsticks for the same storyline?

Sirat’s character has actually made me stop watching the show. I cant even watch clips now. She’s so unlikable, so so annoying. I just read posts here to see what’s happening.

Our entertainment is super sexist. If a woman pursues a man, she's always seen as desparate. In 'true' or main love stories, the man always has to simp first. The girl always has to be disinterested at first. To maintain her iNnOcEnCe. That's what happens in most movies, and even with Kaira.

Look at the kind of comments Gayu got from fans for 4 years. Desparate, tharki chaachi, naagin, cheap, etc. The exact same as Vedika. Fans only like her now even though she has lost her sanity. The man pursuing & girl rejecting at first attempt again happened with Kartik & Sirat.

+1 on Sirat too. This show is only a Shivin fanfest now (ironically a word Mohsin dislikes LOL).
