"YOU!" Sejal screamed from behind.

Shocked, Vansh got up taking the photo frame.

"Sejal-" his voice chocked

"My Riddhima..Ruhi is my-"

No words could describe his emotions. His Riddhima isn't in this world anymore? And Ruhi..? Ruhi is their daughter..

"Yes, Mr. Vansh Raisinghania. Ruhi is your daughter. By the way, how are you? How is your wife, Ahana?"

Sejal's venomous words ripped his scars and he shouted "AHANA IS NOT MY WIFE! NO ONE CAN REPLACE MY RIDDHIMA!" He was going to shout more, but stopped hearing Ruhi's faint cries. She was scared.

"Mumma.." She pointed at Riddhima's frame that Vansh was holding. Giving it back to her, Vansh hugged Ruhi tight and cried.. Cried his heart out..

"Stay away from Ruhi!" Holding his shoulder harshly, Sejal pulled Vansh away from her.

"What kind of crocodile tears are you shedding, huh? What did you do with her? Riddhima suffered all alone! Because of YOU!" Sejal pointed at Vansh who was at the verge of crying again

"9 months! 9 freaking months she somehow stayed alive! Riddhima died everyday! Every single day she missed you.....and there you were busy blinded by her "betrayal" ! Go and stay with that family of yours."

"I-i..lost everyone.. I was mistaken...I-I.. Don't w-want to l-lose my daughter.. I lost my Riddhu...I lost my sweetheart.. Please give our daughter to me..I-I am sorry..." Crying, Vansh fell down on his knees and begged her..Ruhi stood there clutching Riddhima's picture close to her heart.

Riddhima never told me she hates Vansh.. Even an hour before she passed away, she told me for the hundredth time how much she loves him and their daughter..I don't want to hurt Riddhima's soul like this..

"Fine.. Ruhi can stay with you."

He looked at me.

"Thank you..." Vansh whispered.

He looked behind and saw Ruhi crying.

"Baby, why are you crying, your papa is here na?" He took her in his embrace again.

"Papa?" Ruhi whispered. Vansh cried nodding at her. Still clutching the frame, she hugged Vansh wrapped her small arm around his neck.

2 years later •

Ruhi and Vansh were sitting on the rocks. The waves crashed against the shore. The weather was cloudy and calm..

"Wow papa! You guys really fought over flowers the day you met each other.." Ruhi giggled

"Your mumma was sherni. She dared to talk back to me. She was damn stubborn. But, her heart was very delicate.. Like a glass..Easily broken..and can never be brought back.." Bitter memories started to flow in front of Vansh's eyes

"Papa! Look at the moon! Masi said that Mumma used to love moon and stars a lot. And she became one of the stars in the sky." Ruhi tried to make her papa happy

"You know, papa, today I put salt in Angre Chachu's tea. He coughed sooo muchh!!" She laughed

"Uffo, is he alright?" Vansh asked concerned hearing about, yet, another of his daughter's mischief.

"He is fine. Just vomitted a little.." She laughed

"Ruhiii!!" He groaned

"But then Sejal Masi came to his rescue! And then both became statue!"

"Statue?" Vansh asked confused

"Yaaa, they looked at each other in the eye and didn't move until I called them out."

Vansh looked at her and said

"You deserve a punishment now.."

Ruhi got scared. "P-papa.."

The next moment her loud laughing noises could be heard.

"Will you do more mischievous acts? Huh?" He laughed and continued tickling her stomach

"Hahahahaha!!!!!!! Papa stoppp!! Hahahahaha!!!!" Ruhi screamed but Vansh didn't stop.

A cold breeze blew and the sea was calm.. The moon hid behind the clouds and up in the sky, a star shone brightly..
