Konkona + Ranbir were adorable together. I think for the people calling it "big sister vibe" have some unconscious internalised misogyny to disengage with. Maybe that journey starts today?

Ranbir has looked great with all his "elder" female co-stars he shared screen space with, whether it was Konkona (Wake Up Sid), Bipasha (Bachna Ae Haseeno), Rani (Saawariya), Aishwarya (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil), Madhuri (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), Priyanka* (Anjaana Anjaani), Nargis (Rockstar), Dia (Sanju).

*PC is 8 weeks older than him (🤓)

I don't necessarily see a big sister vibe. I just didn't feel their vibe. I do think he was GREAT with Bipasha, Madhuri, and Aish. I know he had a real life crush on Madhuri and you could tell how he would get around her even off-screen.

SRK-Aish in Devdas.. Maybe it's because I saw them first in Josh and they actually looked great as siblings. SRK mostly has chemistry with all his leading ladies even with the ones half his age but he looks very odd with Aish and Katrina.

Tiger-Kriti.. When I first saw the trailer of Heropanti I legit thought this is one of the oddest pairing. Tiger used to look too soft and feminine in his early days and Kriti being taller looked weird with him.

Sallu and Sonam.. Do I need to explain this one!?

You are not the only one. They were an "unconventional" couple. Promotions called it that, critics called it that. Ayan was even upset at one point that people thought his heroine was not so good looking compared to Ranbir or something like that. The thing with unconventional couple is that either you like it or you don't. Not everyone will feel the same way
