Sure !
Honestly, I am not a great writer but I will attempt this :
So, the first time I saw the episode I had a very lukewarm response to it. Probably because it was 6 am and I expected more.. or probably cause I was bored of FFing Devi Shagun scenes..
But then throughout the day , I saw it time and again and the whole flower scene grew onto me..
I also believe that Shaurya expresses through physical touch. It is his love language , at least one of his love languages !
There has never been a scenario when Shaurya and Anokhi are together and he has not touched her, accidently or delibrately. Even during the library scene, he pulled her to himself and held her hand. He cannot NOT touch her.
Previously before the car scene and the ragging, it has always been a little aggressive and passionate. (Pushing, pulling, holding fiercely). His grip is always strong..
However, during the car sleeping scene, he treated her like a doll made of glass. So gentle and so delicate.. This was the first time, if I am not wrong, that his gentle/soft side came out even in his touch.
Coming back to the flower scene,
When they crashed into each other, he was already a little upset with her, miffed as well , probably ' she chose ACP over me' feeling. That's why both of them did not even try to talk, unlike their crash (rustication scenario))
But then he saw her being so possessive about HIS flowers. That touched him. Just the way , her enjoying HIS protein bar did !
So while picking up the flowers, he first gave her a single flower. Then he was looking down, so it was not an accidental touch. Normally, if Shaurya would have wanted to talk to her, he would have held her hand fiercely or pulled her to himself, the way he normally does! So he held her hand for a second, as if offering an olive branch . For me it was "Don't be mad na!" touch. It was gentle, it was precious. It looked like he was testing the waters. I did not think it was from a place of romance! She looked at him and he retracted slowly.
This gentle moment pulled my heart strings. Yes passion is hot. But these gentle touches are hotter when the situation warrants it.
I think Pooja has explained it very well and I agree with her.
But yeah, this was my POV.
I am not sure if I could do justice to the same.
