Ashwini vs Bhavani as mother

Whenever I see Ashwini and Bhavani I am reminded of this song. This song is about how a woman inspite of not giving birth became a mother to someone and on the other hand about someone who despite giving birth could never become a mother.

Ashwini without giving birth to Sai became her mother but Bhavani despite giving birth to Devyani could never really become her mother. It is in Telugu, so I tried translating it for you people.

And also if you see Bhavini is more interested in Virat than Devyani. Like she even wanted to take Ashwini's rights as a mother. Is it because she believes men rule the world and the house. Devyani is unfortunately a girl so it doesn't matter if she is well or not. 😕

i don’t think she genuinely loves virat even. virat fulfills all duties and responsibilities of chaheeta beta, also he is successful in his professional life as well. so she is affectionate towards him. if he were unsuccessful like mohit she would have given two hoots about virat.

That's exactly what it is. She says Virat and Samrat are the ladla of the house because they are the pride of the Chavans but ill treats Mohit because he is not successful. She doesn't care much about Devi because she is a girl and also by being with Pulkit she will destroy the name of the Chavans according to her. I am actually surprised that even though the elders are so close minded people, the kids of the house are quite open minded. 😆

The thing is, that its very much true that your upbringing influences how you are as a person a lot, but it can never trample one's conscience.

Mohit and Devi both have been ill treated hence know the reality of the elders already. Not going to comment on Samrat since we don't have enough information about that, but Virat is now starting to find out. Of everything, the one good thing that the elders taught him was that duty is above everything else.

It is now, that Virat is starting to realize that duty isn't limited to his job. Nor is his duty to absolutely follow what the elders say to uphold their false respect. You automatically respect the good people. If respect has to be instilled in the mind by brain washing then that is not respect. He is now starting to realize that upholding the truth is much more important than upholding the so called izzat of ghar ke bade who don't actually deserve any respect.

Actually you get influenced a lot. That's quite beautiful to see the kids have managed to follow what they believe in. So far Virat thought his family was only purane khayalat ke hain and that's why asked Sai to adjust with them. The way he says that there are things that should start for the first time, is like he is ready for the changes. I really like the fact that they aren't scared of speaking up. Even Mohit has started to epxress what's in his heart and mind. Usually we see the kids follow whatever the elders say in other shows.

i would say that is due to sai’s influence. mohit or virat, for that matter none of the kids the house have never really spoken against the elders of the house. even if they did not agree with everything going on, they were taught to always keep mum. but sai is acting as catalyst to many changes in that house, i think the main reason why bhavani hates sai so much. seeing her being so outspoken, the people who have never raised voice are doing it. be it ashwini, virat or mohit. this threatens bhavani’s power in the house, hence she tries to suppress sai at every point.
