What i feel this show misses the essence of both different cultural families...all the materialistic things are in maharastrian style only what about south culture ...like they shown raghu in proper attire but that MS in his hand freek my mind better they use some sensible stylist all proper south indian jewellery costumes and that MS like ishita wedded to raman still for long time she very well carry the typical south inidian MS which even looks good and hold very much respect in south culture. So better cvs should not mess with cultural things

As u said yes..they should show cultural too, especially of south india not just few words here & there

True, especially in South hindu weddings Saat phere and other rituals although important are not mandatory. Tying three knots of Mangalsutra thread is the defining wedding ritual. No concept of sindoor anyways. Atleast he is trying to get married with the MS. They could show the telugu one though.

In Telugu weddings JilakaraBellam(CuminJaggery) is mandatory. hope they show that.

And they show Raghav wearing Mundu. Telugu people don't wear Mundu. They wear Dhoti.

Ha , lungi is worn at home but dhoti for special occasions.

The problem here is the show is being telecasted on National channels where mainly north Indian audiences are in majority. Therefore they miss out on the regional cultural diversities. Had it been telecasted on a regional channel...it would follow all the customs...but I kind of agree with Shailu...since it is a rushed/revenge marriage...they are going by the north Indian style.

Oh right Mangalsutra is symbolic in Maharashtra as well.
