About sleeping for a week, well... I slept a lot for the first couple of days, but after that, I was just not in the mood to interact with anyone so that explains the absence.
There have been a lot of positive cases in relatives, friends, family friends and neighbors along with a couple of deaths too (although none in the near family *touchwood*). So, an overall despondency has taken over our home right now. Nearly every phone call or message seems to bring in more bad news so we haven't been feeling like talking to anyone these days.
It doesn't help that my brother is a doctor who sees all this first hand and we hear it from him. Also, the relatives and friends keep calling him for consultation and advice... so we get multiple phone calls every single day.
It's just an overall bad situation which keeps on stretching and worsening as the days go by 🤢.
