Lovely Mihika and you are spot on..and its not about mistrust, but over confidence on his daughter that any small thing she does against his wish is considered bad..I can relate so well to Vijay and my husband's reaction would be something like that, but he will definitely confront day one and not go spying behind her back..I like everything about Vijay and his hatred towards Raghav. From the day he misbehaved with her in the temple to the MMS kand..he is totally in bad kya worst books of Vijay.
