I dont know how the original showed it, but i like that the SP version tries to understand the husband's pov too.

He may be a misogynist, a bad husband but he is not a bad father and the fact that the makers have showcased that is something to be noted. because usually in ITV, such infidelity tracks get one dimensional.

Certain scenes from the show is really well written.

But yeah, tomorrow it may become a normal ITV serial, So no high hopes

Problem is after a Point in this show other women is used as a tool to justify husband's all bullshit.. Overall treatment is not up to the mark.. & so called realism nahh far from the reality.

I have never seen any hindi 90s show so i'll not know..

Not judging what ll happen in this one, just liking how they are showing the characters, that's all

Even I didn't watch those shows. But I've heard from people (including ma) those are quite progressive. Showed a journey of a widow, touched extra marital affair issue, showed struggle of a working woman & those were quite popular that time.
