Why so many duets This year compared to previous seasons

They will again sing duets this week in one episode.

This didn't happen in previous seasons..

What's goin on this season, so many duets

I can't find a single duet of season 11(with fellow season 11 contestants)

As you know now this season's contestants really got a chemistry 😂

Having duets on the show doesn't allow us to see a contestant's true potential, especially since half the time other contestants have to adjust to judge's favorites.

Would not be surprised if same pairing once again i.e.

/Pawandeep, Ashish/Sayli, Anjali/Sawai etc

also weaknesses of judges favourites covered if they praise powerful performance of other, hence duets.

This season is arguably the worst of all the seasons I've watched (barring a few contestants). The next season needs an entire revamp of the show from scratch.

We need a good host who either does comedy well or doesn't at all. Maniesh Paul, Jay Bhanushali, Karan Wahi, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Ravi Duvey, Meiyang Chang, etc.

We need judges who are trained in classical music (or other comparable genres) and have done good work in Bollywood. People who can critique every genre of singing and would not compromise music for TRPs. Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Shaan, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Salim Merchant, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, AR Rahman, etc.

And we need contestants who are fresh, new faces. Not those who have connections with musicians or those that have been finalists/winners/contestants on other reality shows.

In a duet if one singer does well, and the other mediocre, the better singer covers up for the mediocre one.

This year contestants like SMP, Ashish, Sawai and Nihal need someone to make their songs sound good.

No other logical explanation!

Aditya Naryan is a bad comedian. Manish Paul was a terrific comedian. It's not funny to call someone's dad a lady's man (in this case Kishore Kamble). The whole greeting joke with danish is getting old. The joke about Ashish's weight and sweat is very insensitive. The whole gimick with Anjali's dad being photoshopped on other people was also very dumb. Being typcast as a slob (Nihal) is not funny at all. On the other hand it is unprofessional. Being called an auntie's lady is not funny either (Arunita). Pawandeep, SMP, and Sawaii literally get no introduction because they are amongst judge's favorites.
