I think in this whole mess he himself forgot what he confessed about his feelings for AE, just like how in the end he thought of mini as childhood friend not love. So their romance if shown would probably be an act only..but is this the way ani chose to educate Bondita on patni darja.. better would have an open conversation. He wanted to be distant from her because the idea of marital life is imposed on her which she actually is clueless about, but its ok to be shown this way, how lame? if its actually about sharing study space with AE and being considerate like he used to with Bonditha and making her feel her space is taken is still acceptable but romance in front of child is too much to take

The whole thing would have been better if his feelings for AE was not shown as it confused the audience just like him.. AE being some krantikari and took Anis help without her family being shown and a mutual act of respect for eachothers mission would have lessened the confusion.. That too after Ani's deliberate effort to convince her and educate her including mother in a kind ways. if it failed the whole 'actual fake' marriage polygamy would have been a little justifiable.
