I am very disappointed at the return of Shagun. Looks like Leena G. (Writer of Mohor) is not going to loosen her reins on this show. Mohor became Bengal topper after Sreshtha (Shagun) returned as an obsessed lover who plotted and tricked to create a series of misunderstandings between the two. Such an admirable character is going to be butchered for the sake of Trps.

About why Anokhi and not Shagun. With Anokhi, it is heart first and mind later. With Shagun, it was mind first and heart never. The original Shagun was much better off without Shaurya. She could get many a good man. And even if she did not, she had her career. The Shagun who will be back will be Devi's pawn. Still I would hope she gives up when she sees how much Shaurya and Anokhi love each other. Almost all the characters here are layered, hope they maintain that with Shagun.

Gosh are the writers same? 🤢 and people started liking the show post Shagun's reentry because of series of misunderstanding? What kind of audience is this?

So far, I feel ShaKhi fans have made a clear trend on Twitter that they like ShaKhi scenes... What more confirmation do these people need? 🤪

I am getting Komolika and Aliya vibes right now for this show.

I feel that shagun shaurya studied together and probably were friends and then decided to marry. Also their families were in favour of the alliance.

Shagun ofcourse loved shaurya..and shaurya was okay to marry shagun as long as she agrees to the ways of sabhrawal.. the problem happened when she chose to study and never told him about him about her study college application.. somehow he felt that something else was more important for her than him.. shaurya is demanding and territorial..

With anokhi the fact is that he has fallen in love..anokhi doesnt even realise it as yet.. and with all their fight and issues he has fallen in love with the strong side of anokhi.. her spirit her innocence is what endears him..

Dear Forumwasis, with the precap gearing up for Shagun re-entering the show, I wanted to Dwell more on Shaurya and his preference for Anokhi which wasn't the case with Shagun.

In the precap, Tej will take a wrong turn and while Devi will be off Shakhi for some time, Shagun will unfortunately return. So Tej misunderstanding the description was also understandable because Shagun and Anokhi have similar descriptions. But then again, there are differences.

Personally, I feel Anokhi has a fighting spirit that Shagun never had. Shagun had a supportive family background and Anokhi always had to fight for anything she wanted.

Second is Anokhi's connection to Aastha and her devotion to her that makes her both a competitor to Shaurya for his mother's affections and also an object of envy.

Thirdly, Anokhi is blunt with him. Shagun I felt used to toe the line and postponed confrontation till the last moment as she didn't want to upset him. Anokhi is clear about it. Chaar baate galat ki toh aath suna degi. Maybe the fact that she doesn't step on eggshells for him allows him freedom to be his own imperfect self.

I’m probably in the minority but how in the heck did Tej think that Shaurya was talking about Shagun?? Devi knew exactly who Shaurya was talking about.

Tej & Devi are simply trying to make sure that Shaurya stays away from Anokhi. They knew exactly who he was talking about. Talking about Shagun was mostly to derail anything that would cause Devi grief.

As for similarities. I’m going to play the devil’s advocate.

There are none.

Shagun was sweet, educated and Shaurya’s age. She didn’t have a spine in my opinion. She begged for her rishta. If she was truthful in the beginning Shaurya would’ve/might’ve reacted differently. Shaurya was indifferent with Shagun. Shagun was boring, she would have bent over backwards for Shaurya. That’s not a strong woman. She never questioned anything.

Anokhi, is special. She’s fire where Shagun was calm. Shaurya comes alive with Anokhi, a feat no one has been able to achieve. Anokhi would never bend over backwards for anyone. That’s what Shaurya likes. She questions him, challenges him and he’s living for the very first time. She annoys him, irritates him, she makes him FEEL.

Shagun could never do that, she couldn’t even change Shaurya’s mind. She left. Anokhi tried leaving but Shaurya went to lengths to prevent that. He apologized and also realized why he didn’t want her leaving.

A feat Shagun couldn’t achieve even though she claimed to love him and know him and was going to marry him.

So, for me, there is no comparison. These two aren’t alike at all!!

Maybe he would see Shaurya holding Shagun and his picture or something?

That could possibly trigger the thought.

The one thing that sat with Shaurya is that Anokhi has been able to see through him. She called out on the pain in his eyes harboring along with the anger and hatred.

Since then she has been on his mind for a completely different reasons.

Secondly, Anokhi interfering in Astha-Shaurya matter was important because she forced the bitterness out of him which was always suppressed or brushed off with Devi's "Mat socho uske bare mei". Even if in anger, he was letting out his emotions. Holding back and denying and outlet is very unhealthy.

You can see the difference already. Shaurya has started humming and whistling 😲 Also, he can actually bear standing in 2 mtr radius with Astha now!

Thirdly, Shaurya has understood that she does not sugarcoat things for him. She is honest and he looks forward to her honesty but it also makes him restless when she feels disappointed in him. He doesn't want to lose her so he makes so many efforts to fix it.
