Chapter 9

Rukaiya said I completely trust you and that is why I am carrying your child in my womb, what??? Screamed Jalal., and Jodha was shocked to death hearing those words... What scarp are you talking about? Yelled Jalal who was shocked to the core, why are you so tensed I thought you will buy me my favourite chocolate for the good news I have given you... Are you out of your sense? Do you know what are you talking about? Questioned Jalal grinning his teeth, off course Jalal I am talking about our baby, I am telling you that I am pregnant replied Rukaiya with some much of happiness... Jodha just started walking away from that place... Jodha ek minute, just wait said Jalal running behind her, please don't bother me you guys might have some much to talk, please carry on replied Jodha, with her voice filled with sorrow... Oh no, trust me she is lying said Jalal... Excuse me Jalal, I really don't care what she said is true or not, I have my class now bye said Jodha and walked away.

Jalal went back to Rukaiya he shouted at her, are you mad? Without me having s*x with you how can you get pregnant, go check whose baby it is?? Rukaiya said., oh my god; how can you say that to me Jalal? that day when you were drunk it was me who dropped you home and on the way it was raining heavily and we were inside the car, it was dark... Bakwas I never drink to the extent I lose my control and for someone else to drop me home no ways, I know my limits so now you go get a DNA test done to check who is the father of your baby, what's the use of getting a DNA test done now? Said Rukaiya as if she didn't understand about the discussion she then continued oh did I say "I am carrying your baby in my womb", sorry Jalal slip of the tongue, I wanted to say "I trust you to that extend where I am ready to carry your child in my womb" Jalal's anger boiled up, he raised his hand to slap her, Rukaiya ran away saying take it easy Jalal just for fun.

Emotional Jodha

Jodha walked into the college campus, she didn't notice anyone, Moti and Hema saw Jodha and called her but Jodha didn't hear them, they got angry and she kept walking and got into the washroom, the minute she locked the door her eyes poured out with tears, she cried, cried and cried... After 20 minutes she came out of the washroom, her eyes were red, she didn't wanted to attend class she felt emotionally weak, as she was walking out of the campus someone blocked her way, Jodha lifted her eyes to check who was it? She saw Rukaiya, hey Jodha please don't tell anyone about my pregnancy she said, Jodha replied nothing she just walked.

Why am I crying now? Questioned Jodha to herself, someone is pregnant because of someone., what's bothering me here? I just have to ignore Jalal's thoughts she said to herself... Again someone came stood in front of her and blocked her way, Jodha lifted her eyes to check who is it, the minute she saw Jalal, she ignored him and kept walking... Jodha please listen to me, Rukaiya was trying to play a prank with me, what she said is not true... Jodha shouted in anger I just met her she requested me not to tell anyone about her pregnancy, try being good to her, don't cheat on her... Jalal got wild with Rukaiya., That's a cooked up story Jodha he responded with anger, look here Mr.Jalal I really don't care what is it between you both and you need not explain it to me, because I don't need friendship of a person who plays with a girl's mental and physical emotions and now just leave my way she said and walked away... Jodha went to a church and sat down there for hours together in silence and tears.

Jalal saw Jodha walking away from him, he walked back to college with anger... He searched for Rukaiya every where, finally he found her in the parking area; she was sitting on her scooty, the minute he saw her, his anger boiled up like never before he walked close to her she jumped from her scooty and screamed hey Jalal are you here searching for me? Jalal kicked the scooty in anger and shouted what was the necessity to talk to Jodha?? Rukaiya was already upset because Jalal kicked her bike, she screamed I didn't like you talking to her, that's why I played this game and I will continue to do again if I see you guys together... Jalal lost his cool and slapped her hard, Rukaiya was in shock, tears rolled down from her eyes, her cheeks turned red... Don't show me your face again he said and left the place.

Friendship between Jodha and Surya

It was more than a week Jodha completely stopped talking to Jalal, he tried talking to her twice but she didn't wanted to talk to him, his ego hurt so he too stopped bothering her.

Jodha did not tell even her close friends Moti and Hema about her short duration friendship with Jalal and Rukaiya's pregnancy, but she was mostly lost in her thoughts...

One noon Jodha bunked her history class and went to library, she sat down reading something, someone came sat beside her and whispered hi, Jodha turned it was Surya... Hey what are you doing here? You should have been in the class now isn't it? Questioned Jodha, after lunch attending history class is really boring for me replied Surya... How about you? He shooted the same question back to Jodha, I don't know during history class, when the lecturer is explaining I try to picturize the scenes because of which I end up with bad headache so I bunked explained Jodha... Okay, if you are done reading can we go to the canteen and have a cup of coffee? Requested Surya... Let's go said Jodha, she put the book back in the shelf and walked out.

Jodha and Surya got into the canteen, Jodha noticed Jalal who was already there, she choose to ignore him... She casually started talking to Surya... Jalal who was sitting with Adham noticed Jodha, he started disliking Surya for no reason, he said Adham look their, wow Jodha said Adham with full smiles, but who is that guy with her? Questioned Jalal... Adham looked at him and said, I have seen her talking to him many a times, I think he needs a warning, Adham got up from the chair, Jalal stopped him saying don't do that mistake if you do so you will become a villain and he will become a hero in her eyes... She is anyways your friend, so let's go sit with them and casually talk to them.

It was justified & I liked her friendship with Surya it was sweet
