Same why to bring a popular actor. Popular actor means unhealthy atmosphere (Mostly happens)

They picked up so talented cast who were not so popular faces but they managed to create a strong fanbase due to their performances. So why not pick up someone like the existing cast. Big actor does not guarantee TRPs. So why to go for someone for whom they have to pay more also.
