I also do not want her to be Mahaan and yes you are right about justified venom but dialog could have worded differently. Does not suit to her character. She is no Devi. May be it’s writer’s fault it came across like that.

Yep. I also thought both are partner in the crime. Tejvi are controlling and power hungry couple. Who loves to rule and make people dance on their tune even if they are their family. The difference is Tej does it passively and Devi is aggressive.

Whoever is the week link of the chain tej orDevi, I still feel Astha being a woman should have had some sympathy and should not have said the “bina labor pain” dialog. Agree she got treated badly and had to leave family, then also no woman deserves to hear this.

The way she has brought up Shaurya to feed on the helplessness and innocence of a child and get him to hate his own mother, I think it's time Devi got it back in the language she understands.

She had no qualms gloating over the divorce and putting the condition on to Shaan with Gayatri and Kanchan future at stake. People like Devi only understand through their own reptilian words.

Maybe writer wanted to give her some strong impactful one liner

She’s shaurya’s mom , speaking spiteful one liner when hurt / in pain doesn’t seem out of character to me 😅
