I am sorry for that, I was staying up at night when I was writing it, so this must have happened when I was posting and my eyes were drooping close.

Hey Everyone! I am back with the next part. I know I am really late and I am sorry for that. Thank you so much for your patience. I have finished the part as promised. Here you go:

Part 3

Riddhima groaned as she tried to open her eyes but closed them immediately because of the brightness. She felt like she was hit by a truck but stayed alive to feel the pain. What the hell happened? She opened her eyes again and found everything blurry. As her eyes became clear, she ran her eyes over the room and landed on Vansh who was sitting on the couch.

“Vansh,” she called out and was met with red eyes. What the? Was he crying? “Are you ok, Va- Vihaan?” She corrected herself. Why do I keep forgetting he is not Vansh? She pulled herself up and stepped down from the bed when she felt dizzy. Before she fell down, Vansh quickly came up to hold her and made her sit down.

“Drink this. It’s going to help with your hangover.” Vansh gave her a glass of lemonade and a pill to reduce hangover. “Hangover? Was I drunk?” Riddhima asked before drinking the lemonade. Vansh nodded his head and asked, “Why were you drinking? I didn’t think you were the type to drink.”

“I was drinking because I felt like it. I don’t have to give an explanation to you. And you don’t know anything about me, so don’t even act like you do,” Riddhima replied rudely. She was drinking because she was feeling all alone and was missing Vansh. But she wasn’t going to tell him the real reason and show her vulnerable side. She is now hoping she didn’t say or do something in her drunk state that she wouldn’t have in her sober state.

Vansh wanted to say something but couldn’t get the words out of his mouth. He just shook his head and said, “Eat some breakfast after freshening up. I have to go take care of something.” He quickly left the room without saying any other words. He wouldn’t have been able to control himself if he stayed there one moment longer.

Riddhima was confused seeing his behavior. Why is he acting so weird? He always acts weird but now he is acting differently. Did anything happen last night? I can’t even remember anything other than crying on Vansh. Riddhima shook her head to clear her mind and went to freshen up.

After getting ready for the day, she went to take her pills as usual but was shocked to see them missing. What the hell? She started rampaging through all her drawers and all the contents but couldn’t find what she is looking for. Where are my pills? Even the poison bottle isn’t here. Did I misplace them? No. I always kept them here, in this drawer. Then where are they?

Riddhima started looking for them in the whole room but she still couldn’t find them. Suddenly she remembered Vihaan. Vihaan. Did he do something with my pills? But how would he know? Maybe he came across them when I was drunk. That’s why he was acting all different this morning. Bloody hell! Riddhima sat frustrated. She was angry at him and herself. Not only Vihaan came to know about her pills, he even dared to take them away.

Vansh was headed to his room after talking with Angre. He was going to put an end to everything today. Enough with playing with cats and mice. I am done with all these games. They had enough of going behind my back and not facing the consequences. Now, it’s time for some real action.

As soon as he entered the room, he was shocked to see the mess everywhere. All the clothes, files, drawers were thrown on the floor. It was as if a storm had come inside the room. His eyes fell on Riddhima who was sitting on the bed, breathing fast. He understood that she was looking for the pills and went hysterical not finding them.

Riddhima looked up sensing someone’s presence and went mad seeing Vihaan. “Where are they? Where did you keep them?” Vansh pretended to be clueless and asked, “Where are what? What are you talking about?” Riddhima stood up and said, “You know what I am talking about. How dare you touch them?” She grabbed his collar and yelled, “Where are my pills?”

Vansh put his hands on her shoulders and tried to calm her down. “Calm down Riddhima. Yes, I took the pills. They are not good for you. You are going to ruin your health if you keep taking them. That’s why I took them away. And don’t even get me started on the poison vial. You are crazy to think that I am going to let you have them after finding them out.”

“Don’t touch me.” Riddhima jerked his hands away from her shoulders. “Why do you care huh? What’s it to you if I live or die? Don’t act like you are my husband Vihaan because you are not. I am paying you to do your job, not to intrude on my personal matters. This has nothing to do with you. You don't know anything. Give me back my pills. You have no right to take them away or worry about my health.”

“I do have the right Riddhima. I care about you. I am not going to just sit and watch you take your life. I know you are hurting because Vansh left you and you are feeling left alone, all by yourself but trust me. Everything is going to be okay. I am going to make everything fine.” Vansh promised her and himself.

Riddhima’s eyes teared up listening to him. Oh, how much she wishes this was actually him speaking all these. How much she wishes to believe he is Vansh but she can’t. He isn’t Vansh. “I don’t care. I don’t give a damn about your feelings if you care for me or not. And I definitely don’t trust you. I don’t trust your words, I don’t trust your face. I don’t trust anyone anymore,” she shouted.

“Ok. You don’t trust me. I understand. You don’t trust my words but see it for yourself. Come downstairs in the living room and you will understand everything. Everything is going to come out today and you will know.” Vansh said after taking a deep breath and left the room.

Riddhima was confused at his words. What did he mean by everything is going to come out today? What’s he playing at? Argh! Riddhima groaned. She felt like ripping her hair out of frustration. First, her pills went missing, and now this. She tried to calm herself by taking deep breaths and followed Vansh into the living room.

Everyone was confused seeing police and CBI officers in the living room. They all looked at each other to figure out who might have called them but they all seemed clueless. Each of them was scared for their own reasons. Anupriya and Kabir were the most scared ones, especially since the CBI is involved. However, Kabir mustered some courage and asked, “What’s the matter officers? Why are you here at the VR mansion?”

“We were called here for an important case matter which we cannot disclose yet,” replied one man in his 40s. “But I am a CBI officer. I can most definitely know what’s going on.” Kabir was desperately trying to find out the matter. “And I am the Department Chief, Kabir. You have no authority over the matter we are investigating. So wait until things unfold,” the man replied in a stern tone.

The Department Chief is here! That means the matter must be big. Otherwise he himself wouldn’t be present here. Did they come to know anything about me? Kabir gulped thinking. He couldn’t afford to get caught now, not when he was so close to defeating Vansh. He looked at his mom who looked back at him with worried and scared expressions.

“Don’t think so hard Kabir. Your small brain wouldn’t be able to handle it.” Vansh’s voice rang in the silent room. Everyone looked up to see Vansh and Angre walking downstairs with Riddhima following behind them. “Don’t worry. I will put an end to all of your worries today. Or maybe it will just be the beginning. Who knows?” Vansh said looking at everyone with a smirk.

Everyone present in the room got scared thinking about his words. Not only his words, but his look scared them as well. He looked different than previous days, his cold eyes, his smirk reminded everyone of the old Vansh even without the beard, the Vansh they knew before Riddhima came into his life. If at all they had any doubt on Vansh-Vihaan identity, it all evaporated when they saw his infamous murderous look. They all had one thought in mind, only God can help them now.
