We all know sairat’s age gap is a contention in their life... especially didi keeps reminding that he married a bachchi. I don’t see virat saying it anymore but he did in the initial days! So is age gap really a contention in a marriage?

We all know that 5-6 years is still desirable in arranged marriages and I have seen that couple with 6-10 years age gap having similar dynamics as 1-2 years! And almost all relationships I have seen the guy being older always deescalates the situation just like virat 👍

I believe sai and virat has 9-10 years age gap. For me sai is 18 (legal age) and virat is 27 (from the episode where Ashwini tells ninad that they are married for 28 years) when they got married. So it is interesting to see their dynamics going forward with ‘bachchi’ word still under discussion.

thoughts please ....

sai is 18 or 19 , yeah their age difference is around 8 -10 ,

and age is just a number , didi is jealous of sai so woh kuch bhi bolega

but sai finds happiness in smallest things jho didi ko bachom wala cheez lagti hai but i did like the reply virat give to pakhi that time if u wanna realise the happiness in these small things u need to see it through her pov its the memories she had with her dad , how well he have understood sai ,

both sairat have got their on sets of flaws , which makes them even more beautiful , a wonderful couple , they are like pieces of jigsaw puzzle when put together the puzzle gets complete a perfect match

well age mein kuch nahi hai what is needed in a relationship is understanding , loyalty , aur dheersara pyaar and honesty

When I was a teenager, I used to think age gap is a huge thing. But with time I actually have no problem. And sometimes it's better for some couple and they even look more beautiful that way. I am all ok if the girl is 18-20 and the guy 26-28. It shouldn't be the girl is 18 and the guy 30+. Then it looks awkward. 😕

During their reception, the aunties were gossiping about their age gap. I seriously was surprised. I thought in India it would be the other way. They would praise the age gap instead of criticizing it. 😆

i think the issue is not because of age gap of 8-10 yrs but more to do with the fact that sai is just 18/19. few months before the same marriage would have been illegal. in earlier days it might have been the case but not so much these days to get girls married at 18.

i am loving this slow love story because of her age as well. i firmly believe she needs atleast 1-2 yrs more to actually become more mature(sorry for using this infamous word☺️☺️☺️) to select her life partner. a girl who have never had even a crush , would she understand if she is infatuated or in love???

my personal opinion though.

8-10 years isnt that uncommon of an age gap. Esp the guy being older than the girl is pretty common.

Personally i dont mind it in reel and real life as long as it’s between 2 consenting adults.

With SaiRat it feels a lot maybe coz Sai is 18.

A 27 year old Sai with 35-36 year old Virat doesnt feel like an issue.

So my parents have an age gap of 9 years (can say like sairat 🤣) but the difference is that they got married late especially since my mom was 30! So having seen that kind of relationship I feel it is necessary for one to have seen the world and experienced life to make a relationship successful. Priyanshi and I were just discussing about what causes Sai to behave in this manner and that also adds to this age gap factor, not the difference but the experiences that have led to the marriage!

I totally agree. We have seen some age difference couple in real lives who are successful without any partner in that relationship is being abused in any way.

The problem is not age difference ; but the circumstances in which both got married and also their individusl state of mind

Age gap shouldn't be a problem... But for a girl to get married min 20/21 is ideal age... They would be coming out of that comfort zone and start observing minute things in the family and outside the family as well... They would listen more to family realities from friends... Living in a hotel during college and all will build more patience and adjustments within us.. being out from family and staying with new people and making a relationship with them and understanding them and all adds value to a girl when she marries and goes to in-laws home esp a joint family..

I could be wrong but just my thoughts...
