I am still at a loss as to why folks here are reacting so severely for a stupid ad. Is there something that I am missing? I know it’s a badly edited ad but still better than dancing in the weddings which he has proudly done in the past. This must have made him richer by a few more crores, so don’t see what is there to complain. I mean, what even!

Because its pseudo advertising. The company is actually promoting gutka (their main product) under the guise of a pan masala.

Yeah, it's like McDowell advertising their sparkling water when we all know what the ad is actually for.

I don't get why someone like SRK would do it no matter how much the money. It's not like dancing at weddings, etc. Paan can cause real health problems.
