Though I didn't assume that he must have called in the police deliberately, I was surprised too because when she called Shaan he set aside all differences and did the right thing by telling the officer that she was a possible candidate and not only that he went a step ahead and sent Makhan to get her dropped at a safer guest house! I was so impressed watching that scene because like you said in any other show he would have been portrayed as orchestrating the arrest or spitefully letting her stay trapped in the police station.

Look at the standards ITV is setting we are all relieved and impressed because the ML did the right thing 😆

Honestly that's why I appreciate Shaurya as a character because for the most part, he does right by people. They go out of their way to show that it's not just people close to him, but he helps random people too. Like he was going to stop her from "committing suicide" and didn't even know who she was. Then even when he does hate her, he still tries to help her. During the riots, he protects her but also helps strangers. And none of this feels contrived like they are trying to balance his negative traits by just dropping in this random positive thing about him. Maybe it's KV's portrayal but you really feel like Shaurya is a stand up guy.

hahahah they've truly both taken 180 turn from him wanting her out of the college to him doing anything to make her stay and her doing whatever she can to get admission to being totally ready to leave!

Yeah I think right now he's chalking up his reluctance to leave to guilt, he isn't ready to admit that Anokhi is special to him so he's just going to think that he feels bad that she might be leaving because of him. But after he apologizes and she stays back, he'll still not want to go to Patiala. Then he'll have to find a new excuse 😆

O actually liked the scene after on the stirs where Shaan and shaurya are supporting her against vineet and how she looks back

@bold Yessss!!! Their eye chemistry is amazing!! Even the look he gives her there was such a protectiveness there! He literally couldn't stop looking at her even as she was leaving!
